HNV 25 You shall take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar on the burnt offering, for a sweet savor before the LORD: it is an offering made by fire to the LORD. NIV 25 Then take them from their hands and burn them on the altar along with the burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the LORD, a food offering presented to the LORD. HNV 26 "You shall take the breast of Aharon's ram of consecration, and wave it for a wave-offering before the LORD: and it shall be your portion. NIV 26 After you take the breast of the ram for Aaron’s ordination, wave it before the LORD as a wave offering, and it will be your share. HNV 27 You shall sanctify the breast of the wave-offering, and the thigh of the heave-offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of consecration, even of that which is for Aharon, and of that which is for his sons: NIV 27 “Consecrate those parts of the ordination ram that belong to Aaron and his sons: the breast that was waved and the thigh that was presented. HNV 28 and it shall be for Aharon and his sons as their portion forever from the children of Yisra'el; for it is a heave-offering: and it shall be a heave-offering from the children of Yisra'el of the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, even their heave-offering to the LORD. NIV 28 This is always to be the perpetual share from the Israelites for Aaron and his sons. It is the contribution the Israelites are to make to the LORD from their fellowship offerings. HNV 29 "The holy garments of Aharon shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them. NIV 29 “Aaron’s sacred garments will belong to his descendants so that they can be anointed and ordained in them. HNV 30 Seven days shall the son who is Kohen in his place put them on, when he comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place. NIV 30 The son who succeeds him as priest and comes to the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place is to wear them seven days. HNV 31 "You shall take the ram of consecration, and boil its flesh in a holy place. NIV 31 “Take the ram for the ordination and cook the meat in a sacred place. HNV 32 Aharon and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the tent of meeting. NIV 32 At the entrance to the tent of meeting, Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that is in the basket. HNV 33 They shall eat those things with which atonement was made, to consecrate and sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat of it, because they are holy. NIV 33 They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred. HNV 34 If anything of the flesh of the consecration, or of the bread, remains to the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy. NIV 34 And if any of the meat of the ordination ram or any bread is left over till morning, burn it up. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred. HNV 35 "Thus shall you do to Aharon, and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. Seven days shall you consecrate them. NIV 35 “Do for Aaron and his sons everything I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them. HNV 36 Every day shall you offer the bull of sin-offering for atonement: and you shall cleanse the altar, when you make atonement for it; and you shall anoint it, to sanctify it. NIV 36 Sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it. HNV 37 Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it: and the altar shall be most holy; whatever touches the altar shall be holy. NIV 37 For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy. HNV 38 "Now this is that which you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually. NIV 38 “This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old. HNV 39 The one lamb you shall offer in the morning; and the other lamb you shall offer at evening: NIV 39 Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight. HNV 40 and with the one lamb a tenth part of an efah of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink-offering. NIV 40 With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering. HNV 41 The other lamb you shall offer at evening, and shall do to it according to the meal-offering of the morning, and according to its drink-offering, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to the LORD. NIV 41 Sacrifice the other lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and its drink offering as in the morning—a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD. HNV 42 It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you, to speak there to you. NIV 42 “For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the LORD. There I will meet you and speak to you; HNV 43 There I will meet with the children of Yisra'el; and the place shall be sanctified by my glory. NIV 43 there also I will meet with the Israelites, and the place will be consecrated by my glory. HNV 44 I will sanctify the tent of meeting and the altar: Aharon also and his sons I will sanctify, to minister to me in the Kohen's office. NIV 44 “So I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests. HNV 45 I will dwell among the children of Yisra'el, and will be their God. NIV 45 Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God. HNV 46 They shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them forth out of the land of Mitzrayim, that I might dwell among them: I am the LORD their God. NIV 46 They will know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.
