Exodus 37

RHE 1 And Beseleel made also, the ark of setim wood: it was two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth, and the height was of one cubit and a half: and he overlaid it with the purest gold within and without. NIV 1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood—two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. RHE 2 And he made to it a crown of gold round about, NIV 2 He overlaid it with pure gold, both inside and out, and made a gold molding around it. RHE 3 Casting four rings of gold at the four corners thereof: two rings in one side, and two in the other. NIV 3 He cast four gold rings for it and fastened them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other. RHE 4 And he made bars of setim wood, which he overlaid with gold, NIV 4 Then he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. RHE 5 And he put them into the rings that were at the sides of the ark to carry it. NIV 5 And he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it. RHE 6 He made also the propitiatory, that is, the oracle, of the purest gold, two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth. NIV 6 He made the atonement cover of pure gold—two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. RHE 7 Two cherubims also of beaten gold, which he set on the two sides of the propitiatory: NIV 7 Then he made two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover. RHE 8 One cherub in the top of one side, and the other cherub in the top of the other side: two cherubims at the two ends of the propitiatory, NIV 8 He made one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; at the two ends he made them of one piece with the cover. RHE 9 Spreading their wings, and covering the propitiatory, and looking one towards the other, and towards it. NIV 9 The cherubim had their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim faced each other, looking toward the cover. RHE 10 He made also the table of setim wood, in length two cubits, and in breadth one cubit, and in height it was a cubit and a half. NIV 10 They made the table of acacia wood—two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high. RHE 11 And he overlaid it with the finest gold, and he made to it a golden ledge round about, NIV 11 Then they overlaid it with pure gold and made a gold molding around it. RHE 12 And to the ledge itself he made a polished crown of gold, of four fingers breadth, and upon the same another golden crown. NIV 12 They also made around it a rim a handbreadth wide and put a gold molding on the rim. RHE 13 And he cast four rings of gold, which he put in the four corners at each foot of the table, NIV 13 They cast four gold rings for the table and fastened them to the four corners, where the four legs were. RHE 14 Over against the crown: and he put the bars into them, that the table might be carried. NIV 14 The rings were put close to the rim to hold the poles used in carrying the table. RHE 15 The bars also themselves he made of setim wood, and overlaid them with gold. NIV 15 The poles for carrying the table were made of acacia wood and were overlaid with gold. RHE 16 And the vessels for the divers uses of the table, dishes, bowls, and cups, and censers of pure gold, wherein the libations are to be offered. NIV 16 And they made from pure gold the articles for the table—its plates and dishes and bowls and its pitchers for the pouring out of drink offerings. RHE 17 He made also the candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold. from the shaft whereof its branches, its cups, and bowls, and lilies came out: NIV 17 They made the lampstand of pure gold. They hammered out its base and shaft, and made its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them. RHE 18 Six on the two sides: three branches on one side, and three on the other. NIV 18 Six branches extended from the sides of the lampstand—three on one side and three on the other. RHE 19 Three cups in manner of a nut on each branch, and bowls withal and lilies: and three cups of the fashion of a nut in another branch, and bowls withal and lilies. The work of the six branches, that went out from the shaft of the candlestick was equal. NIV 19 Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms were on one branch, three on the next branch and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand. RHE 20 And in the shaft itself were four cups after the manner of a nut, and bowls withal at every one, and lilies: NIV 20 And on the lampstand were four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms. RHE 21 And bowls under two branches in three places, which together made six branches going out from one shaft. NIV 21 One bud was under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair—six branches in all. RHE 22 So both the bowls, and the branches were of the same, all beaten work of the purest gold. NIV 22 The buds and the branches were all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold. RHE 23 He made also the seven lamps with their snuffers, and the vessels where the snuffings were to be put out, of the purest gold. NIV 23 They made its seven lamps, as well as its wick trimmers and trays, of pure gold. RHE 24 The candlestick with all the vessels thereof weighed a talent of gold. NIV 24 They made the lampstand and all its accessories from one talent of pure gold. RHE 25 He made also the alter of incense of setim wood, being a cubit on every side foursquare, and in height two cubits: from the corners of which went out horns. NIV 25 They made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide and two cubits high —its horns of one piece with it. RHE 26 And he overlaid it with the purest gold, with its grate, and the sides, and the horns. NIV 26 They overlaid the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and made a gold molding around it. RHE 27 And he made to it a crown of gold round about, and two golden rings under the crown at each side, that the bars might be put into them, and the altar be carried. NIV 27 They made two gold rings below the molding—two on each of the opposite sides—to hold the poles used to carry it. RHE 28 And the bars themselves he made also of setim wood, and overlaid them with plates of gold. NIV 28 They made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. RHE 29 He compounded also the oil for the ointment of sanctification, and incense of the purest spices, according to the work of a perfumer. NIV 29 They also made the sacred anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense—the work of a perfumer.
