1 Dāng sān shí nián sì yuè chū wǔ rì , yǐ xī jié ( yuánwén zuò wǒ ) zaì Jiābā lǔ hé bian beìlǔ de rén zhōng , tiān jiù kāi le , dé jiàn shén de yìxiàng .

In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
2 Zhēng shì yuē Yǎjīn wáng beìlǔ qù dì wǔ nián sì yuè chū wǔ rì ,

On the fifth of the month—it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin—
3 Zaì Jiālèdǐ rén zhī dì , Jiābā lǔ hé bian , Yēhéhuá de huà tè tè líndào bù xī de érzi jìsī yǐ xī jiē . Yēhéhuá de líng ( yuánwén zuò shǒu ) jiàng zaì tā shēnshang .

the word of the LORD came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, by the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians. There the hand of the LORD was on him.
4 Wǒ guānkàn , jiàn kuángfēng cóng bĕi fāng guā lái , suí zhe yǒu yī duǒ bāokuò Shǎn shuò huǒ de dà yún , zhōuwéi yǒu guāng huī . cóng qízhōng de huǒ neì fāchū hǎoxiàng guāng yào de jīng jīn .

I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,
5 Yòu cóng qízhōng xiǎn chū sì gè huó wù de xíngxiàng lái . tāmende xíngzhuàng shì zhèyàng , yǒu rén de xíngxiàng ,

and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human,
6 Gè yǒu sì gè liǎnmiàn , sì gè chìbǎng .

but each of them had four faces and four wings.
7 Tāmende tuǐ shì zhí de , jiǎo zhǎng hǎoxiàng niúdú zhī tí , dōu cànlàn rú guāngmíng de tóng .

Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze.
8 Zaì sìmiàn de chìbǎng yǐxià yǒu rén de shǒu . zhè sì gè huó wù de liǎn hé chìbǎng nǎi shì zhèyàng ,

Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. All four of them had faces and wings,
9 Chìbǎng bǐcǐ xiāng jiē , xíng zǒu bìng bù zhuǎn shēn , jū gè zhí wǎng qián xíng .

and the wings of one touched the wings of another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved.
10 Zhìyú liǎn de xíngxiàng , qiánmian gè yǒu rén de liǎn , yòu miàn gè yǒu shīzi de liǎn , zuǒ miàn gè yǒu niú de liǎn , hòumian gè yǒu yīng de liǎn .

Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle.
11 Gè zhǎn kāi shàngbiān de liǎng gè chìbǎng xiāng jiē , gĕ yǐxià bian de liǎng gè chìbǎng zhē tǐ .

Such were their faces. They each had two wings spreading out upward, each wing touching that of the creature on either side; and each had two other wings covering its body.
12 Tāmen jū gè zhí wǎng qián xíng . líng wǎng nǎli qù , tāmen jiù wǎng nàli qù , xíng zǒu bìng bù zhuǎn shēn .

Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went.
13 Zhìyú sì huó wù de xíngxiàng , jiù rú shāo zhe huǒ tàn de xíngzhuàng , yòu rú huǒbǎ de xíngzhuàng . huǒ zaì sì huó wù zhōngjiān shǎng qù xià lái , zhè huǒ yǒu guāng huī , cóng huǒ zhōng fāchū shǎndiàn .

The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it.
14 Zhè huó wù wǎng lái bēnzǒu , hǎoxiàng diàn guāng yī Shǎn .

The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.
15 Wǒ zhēng guānkàn huó wù de shíhou , jiàn huó wù de liǎn páng gè yǒu yī lún zaì dì shang .

As I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces.
16 Lún de xíngzhuàng hé yánsè ( yuánwén zuò zuòfǎ ) hǎoxiàng shuǐ cāng yù . sì lún dōu shì yī gè yàngshì , xíngzhuàng hé zuòfǎ hǎoxiàng lún zhōng tào lún .

This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel.
17 Lún xíng zǒu de shíhou , xiàng sìfāng dōu néng zhí xíng , bìng bù diào zhuǎn .

As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction as the creatures went.
18 Zhìyú lún wǎng , gāo ér kĕ wèi . sì gè lún wǎng zhōuwéi mǎn yǒu yǎnjing .

Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around.
19 Huó wù xíng zǒu , lún yĕ zaì pángbiān xíng zǒu . huó wù cóng dì shang shēng , lún yĕ dōu shang shēng .

When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose.
20 Líng wǎng nǎli qù , huó wù jiù wǎng nàli qù . huó wù shang shēng , lún yĕ zaì huó wù pángbiān shang shēng , yīnwei huó wù de líng zaì lún zhōng .

Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
21 Nàxiē xíng zǒu , zhèxie yĕ xíng zǒu . nàxiē zhàn zhù , zhèxie yĕ zhàn zhù . nàxiē cóng dì shang shēng , lún yĕ zaì pángbiān shang shēng , yīnwei huó wù de líng zaì lún zhōng .

When the creatures moved, they also moved; when the creatures stood still, they also stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
22 Huó wù de tóu yǐshàng yǒu qióng cāng de xíngxiàng , kàn zhe xiàng kĕ wèi de shuǐ jīng , pū zhāng zaì huó wù de tóu yǐshàng .

Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked something like a vault, sparkling like crystal, and awesome.
23 Qióng cāng yǐxià , huó wù de chìbǎng zhí zhāng , bǐcǐ xiāngduì . mĕi huó wù yǒu liǎng gè chìbǎng zhē tǐ .

Under the vault their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two wings covering its body.
24 Huó wù xíng zǒu de shíhou , wǒ tīngjian chìbǎng de xiǎngshēng , xiàng dà shuǐ de shēngyīn , xiàng quánnéng zhĕ de shēngyīn , yĕ xiàng jūnduì hǒng nāng de shēngyīn . huó wù zhàn zhù de shíhou , biàn jiāng chìbǎng chuí xià .

When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, like the tumult of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings.
25 Zaì tāmen tóu yǐshàng de qióng cāng zhī shang yǒu shēngyīn . tāmen zhàn zhù de shíhou , biàn jiāng chìbǎng chuí xià .

Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings.
26 Zaì tāmen tóu yǐshàng de qióng cāng zhī shang yǒu bǎozuò de xíngxiàng , fǎngfú lánbǎoshí . zaì bǎozuò xíngxiàng yǐshàng yǒufǎngfú rén de xíngzhuàng .

Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.
27 Wǒ jiàn cóng tā yào yǐshàng yǒu fǎngfú guāng yào de jīng jīn , zhōuwéi dōu yǒu huǒ de xíngzhuàng , yòu jiàn cóng tā yào yǐxià yǒu fǎngfú huǒ de xíngzhuàng , zhōuwéi yĕ yǒu guāng huī .

I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.
28 Xiàyǔ de rìzi , yún zhōng hóng de xíngzhuàng zĕnyàng , zhōuwéi guāng huī de xíngzhuàng yĕ shì zĕnyàng . zhè jiù shì Yēhéhuá róngyào de xíngxiàng . wǒ yī kànjian jiù fǔfú zaì dì , yòu tīngjian yī wèi shuōhuà de shēngyīn .

Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
