1 Luego me sacó al atrio exterior, hacia el norte, y me llevó a la cámara que estaba frente a la zona separada y frente al edificio hacia el norte.

2 A lo largo de la longitud, que era de cien codos, estaba la puerta del norte; la anchura era de cincuenta codos.

3 Frente a los veinte codos del atrio interior, y frente al pavimento del atrio exterior, había una galería frente a la otra galería en los tres pisos.

4 Y delante de las cámaras había un corredor interior de diez codos de ancho, una vía de cien codos; y sus entradas daban al norte.

5 Las cámaras superiores eran más estrechas porque las galerías les quitaban más espacio que a las inferiores y a las intermedias del edificio.

6 Pues estaban en tres pisos y no tenían pilares como los pilares de los atrios; por tanto las cámaras superiores se estrechaban a partir del suelo más que las inferiores y las intermedias.

7 Y el muro exterior a lo largo de las cámaras, en dirección al atrio exterior frente a las cámaras, tenía cincuenta codos de largo.

8 Porque la longitud de las cámaras que estaban en el atrio exterior era de cincuenta codos; y las que estaban frente al templo tenían cien codos.

9 Y debajo de estas cámaras estaba la entrada del lado oriental, para entrar en ellas desde el atrio exterior.

10 A lo ancho del muro del atrio hacia el oriente, frente a la zona separada y frente al edificio, había cámaras.

11 Y el corredor delante de ellas era semejante al de las cámaras que estaban al norte; su longitud era igual a su anchura; y todas sus salidas, así como sus disposiciones y sus entradas, eran iguales.

12 Y correspondiendo a las entradas de las cámaras que daban hacia el sur, había una entrada al comienzo del corredor, el corredor frente al muro que daba al oriente, según se entra a ellas.

13 Entonces él me dijo: Las cámaras del norte y las cámaras del sur que están frente a la zona separada, son las cámaras santas donde los sacerdotes que están cerca del SEÑOR, comerán las cosas santísimas. Allí pondrán las cosas santísimas, la ofrenda de cereal, la ofrenda por el pecado y la ofrenda por la culpa; porque el lugar es santo.

14 Cuando entren los sacerdotes allí, no saldrán al atrio exterior desde el santuario sin haber dejado las vestiduras con que ministran, porque son santas. Se pondrán otras vestiduras para poder acercarse a lo que es del pueblo.

15 Cuando acabó de medir el interior del templo, me sacó por el camino de la puerta que daba al oriente, y lo midió todo alrededor.

16 Midió el lado oriental con la caña de medir, y tenía alrededor quinientas cañas de la caña de medir.

17 Midió el lado norte con la caña de medir, y tenía alrededor quinientas cañas.

18 Al lado sur midió quinientas cañas con la caña de medir.

19 Se volvió al lado occidental y midió quinientas cañas con la caña de medir.

20 Por los cuatro lados lo midió; tenía un muro todo alrededor de quinientas cañas de largo y quinientas de ancho, para dividir entre lo sagrado y lo profano.

1 The man led me north into the outside courtyard and brought me to the rooms that are in front of the open space and the house facing north.

2 The length of the house on the north was one hundred seventy-five feet, and its width eighty-seven and a half feet.

3 Across the thirty-five feet that separated the inside courtyard from the paved walkway at the edge of the outside courtyard, the rooms rose level by level for three stories.

4 In front of the rooms on the inside was a hallway seventeen and a half feet wide and one hundred seventy-five feet long. Its entrances were from the north.

5 The upper rooms themselves were narrower, their galleries being wider than on the first and second floors of the building.

6 The rooms on the third floor had no pillars like the pillars in the outside courtyard and were smaller than the rooms on the first and second floors.

7 There was an outside wall parallel to the rooms and the outside courtyard. It fronted the rooms for eighty-seven and a half feet.

8 The row of rooms facing the outside courtyard was eighty-seven and a half feet long. The row on the side nearest the Sanctuary was one hundred seventy-five feet long.

9 The first-floor rooms had their entrance from the east, coming in from the outside courtyard.

10 On the south side along the length of the courtyard's outside wall and fronting on the Temple courtyard were rooms

11 with a walkway in front of them. These were just like the rooms on the north - same exits and dimensions - with the main entrance from the east leading to the hallway and the doors to the rooms the same as those on the north side.

12 The design on the south was a mirror image of that on the north.

13 Then he said to me, "The north and south rooms adjacent to the open area are holy rooms where the priests who come before God eat the holy offerings. There they place the holy offerings - grain offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings. These are set-apart rooms, holy space.

14 After the priests have entered the Sanctuary, they must not return to the outside courtyard and mingle among the people until they change the sacred garments in which they minister and put on their regular clothes."

15 After he had finished measuring what was inside the Temple area, he took me out the east gate and measured it from the outside.

16 Using his measuring stick, he measured the east side: eight hundred seventy-five feet.

17 He measured the north side: eight hundred seventy-five feet.

18 He measured the south side: eight hundred seventy-five feet.

19 Last of all he went to the west side and measured it: eight hundred seventy-five feet.

20 He measured the wall on all four sides. Each wall was eight hundred seventy-five feet. The walls separated the holy from the ordinary.
