1 'Cuando repartáis por suertes la tierra en heredad, ofreceréis una parte al SEÑOR, una porción sagrada de la tierra; la longitud será de veinticinco mil codos, y la anchura será de veinte mil. Será sagrada en toda su extensión alrededor.

2 'De ella se tomará para el santuario quinientos codos por quinientos, en cuadro alrededor, y un espacio abierto en derredor de cincuenta codos.

3 'Y de esta área medirás una longitud de veinticinco mil codos, y una anchura de diez mil; y en ella estará el santuario, el lugar santísimo.

4 'Esta será la porción consagrada de la tierra para los sacerdotes, ministros del santuario, que se acercan para ministrar al SEÑOR; será un lugar para sus casas y un lugar sagrado para el santuario.

5 'Y un área de veinticinco mil codos de largo y de diez mil de ancho será para los levitas, ministros del templo, para su posesión, con ciudades donde habitar .

6 'Daréis a la ciudad en posesión un área de cinco mil codos de ancho y de veinticinco mil codos de largo junto a la parte reservada de la porción sagrada; ésta será para toda la casa de Israel.

7 'Y el príncipe tendrá tierra a ambos lados de la parte sagrada y de la propiedad de la ciudad, a lo largo de la parte sagrada y de la propiedad de la ciudad; por el lado occidental hacia el occidente y por el lado oriental hacia el oriente, su longitud corresponderá a una de las porciones, desde el límite occidental hasta el límite oriental.

8 'Esta tierra será su posesión en Israel; así mis príncipes no oprimirán más a mi pueblo, sino que darán el resto de la tierra a la casa de Israel según sus tribus.'

9 "Así dice el Señor DIOS: 'Basta ya, príncipes de Israel; dejad la violencia y la destrucción, y practicad el derecho y la justicia. Acabad con las extorsiones que hacéis a mi pueblo'declara el Señor DIOS.

13 'Esta es la ofrenda que ofreceréis: la sexta parte de un efa por cada homer de trigo; la sexta parte de un efa por cada homer de cebada;

14 y la ordenanza para el aceite, para el bato de aceite, será la décima parte de un bato por cada coro ; éste equivale a diez batos o un homer (porque diez batos son un homer);

15 y una oveja por cada rebaño de doscientas de los abrevaderos de Israel, para la ofrenda de cereal, para el holocausto y para las ofrendas de paz, a fin de hacer expiación por ellos'declara el Señor DIOS.

16 'Todo el pueblo de la tierra contribuirá a esta ofrenda para el príncipe en Israel.

17 'Y al príncipe le corresponderá proveer los holocaustos, las ofrendas de cereal y las libaciones en las fiestas, en las lunas nuevas y en los días de reposo, en todas las fiestas señaladas de la casa de Israel. El proveerá la ofrenda por el pecado, la ofrenda de cereal, el holocausto y las ofrendas de paz para hacer expiación por la casa de Israel.'

18 "Así dice el Señor DIOS: 'En el mes primero, el primer día del mes, tomarás de la vacada un novillo sin defecto y purificarás el santuario.

19 'Y el sacerdote tomará de la sangre de la ofrenda por el pecado y la pondrá sobre los postes de la puerta del templo, en los cuatro ángulos del zócalo del altar y sobre los postes de la puerta del atrio interior.

20 'Y así harás el día séptimo del mes para todo aquel que se desvíe o que sea ingenuo. Así haréis expiación por el templo.

21 'En el mes primero, a los catorce días del mes, será para vosotros la Pascua, fiesta de siete días; en ella se comerá el pan sin levadura.

22 'En ese día, el príncipe ofrecerá por sí mismo y por todo el pueblo de la tierra un novillo en ofrenda por el pecado.

23 'Y en los siete días de la fiesta ofrecerá en holocausto al SEÑOR siete novillos y siete carneros sin defecto, cada día de los siete días, y en ofrenda por el pecado un macho cabrío cada día.

24 'Y proveerá como ofrenda de cereal un efa por novillo, un efa por carnero, y un hin de aceite por efa.

25 'En el mes séptimo, a los quince días del mes, en la fiesta, proveerá de igual manera por siete días para la ofrenda por el pecado, para el holocausto, para la ofrenda de cereal y para el aceite.'

1 "When you divide up the inheritance of the land, you must set aside part of the land as sacred space for God: approximately seven miles long by six miles wide, all of it holy ground.

2 Within this rectangle, reserve a seven-hundred-fifty-foot square for the Sanctuary with a seventy-five-foot buffer zone surrounding it.

3 Mark off within the sacred reserve a section seven miles long by three miles wide. The Sanctuary with its Holy of Holies will be placed there.

4 This is where the priests will live, those who lead worship in the Sanctuary and serve God there. Their houses will be there along with The Holy Place.

5 "To the north of the sacred reserve, an area roughly seven miles long and two and a quarter miles wide will be set aside as land for the villages of the Levites who administer the affairs of worship in the Sanctuary.

6 "To the south of the sacred reserve, measure off a section seven miles long and about a mile and a half wide for the city itself, an area held in common by the whole family of Israel.

7 "The prince gets the land abutting the seven-mile east and west borders of the central sacred square, extending eastward toward the Jordan and westward toward the Mediterranean.

8 This is the prince's possession in Israel. My princes will no longer bully my people, running roughshod over them. They'll respect the land as it has been allotted to the tribes.

9 "This is the Message of God, the Master: 'I've put up with you long enough, princes of Israel! Quit bullying and taking advantage of my people. Do what's just and right for a change.

10 Use honest scales - honest weights and honest measures.

11 Every pound must have sixteen ounces. Every gallon must measure four quarts. The ounce is the basic measure for both.

12 And your coins must be honest - no wooden nickels! Everyone in the Land Must Contribute

13 "'These are the prescribed offerings you are to supply: one-sixtieth part of your wheat, one-sixtieth part of your barley,

14 one-hundredth part of your oil,

15 one sheep out of every two hundred from the lush pastures of Israel. These will be used for the grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings for making the atonement sacrifices for the people. Decree of God, the Master.

16 "'Everyone in the land must contribute to these special offerings that the prince in Israel will administer.

17 It's the prince's job to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings at the Holy Festivals, the New Moons, and the Sabbaths - all the commanded feasts among the people of Israel. Sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings for making atonement for the people of Israel are his responsibility.

18 "'This is the Message from God, the Master: On the first day of the first month, take an unblemished bull calf and purify the Sanctuary.

19 The priest is to take blood from the sin offerings and rub it on the doorposts of the Temple, on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the gate entrance to the inside courtyard.

20 Repeat this ritual on the seventh day of the month for anyone who sins without knowing it. In this way you make atonement for the Temple.

21 "'On the fourteenth day of the first month, you will observe the Passover, a feast of seven days. During the feast you will eat bread made without yeast.

22 "'On Passover, the prince supplies a bull as a sin offering for himself and all the people of the country.

23 Each day for each of the seven days of the feast, he will supply seven bulls and seven rams unblemished as a burnt offering to God, and also each day a male goat.

24 "'He will supply about five and a half gallons of grain offering and a gallon of oil for each bull and each ram.

25 "'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, and on each of the seven days of the feast, he is to supply the same materials for sin offerings, burnt offerings, grain offerings, and oil.
