1 División de la tierra<br />»”Cuando se repartan la tierra entre las tribus de Israel, deberán apartar una sección para el Señor<br />, la cual será su porción santa. Esa porción tendrá trece kilómetros con trescientos metros de largo por diez kilómetros con seiscientos metros de ancho.<br /> Toda el área será santa.

2 Una parte de esta tierra —un cuadrado de doscientos sesenta y cinco metros de lado<br />— se apartará para el templo. A su alrededor se dejará libre una franja adicional de tierra de veintiséis metros y medio<br /> de ancho.

3 Dentro del terreno sagrado más extenso, midan una parcela de tierra de trece kilómetros con trescientos metros de largo y cinco kilómetros con trescientos metros de ancho.<br /> Allí se ubicará el santuario del Lugar Santísimo.

4 Esta área será santa, apartada para los sacerdotes que ofician ante el Señor<br /> en el santuario. Allí estarán sus casas y allí también se pondrá mi templo.

5 La franja de tierra sagrada junto a esta área —también de trece kilómetros con trescientos metros de largo por cinco kilómetros con trescientos metros de ancho— se destinará a las viviendas de los levitas que trabajen en el templo. El lugar les pertenecerá a ellos y será un lugar para sus aldeas.

6 »”Junto a la tierra sagrada más extensa habrá una porción de tierra, de trece kilómetros con trescientos metros de largo por dos kilómetros seiscientos cincuenta metros de ancho,<br /> la cual se apartará para construir una ciudad donde pueda vivir cualquier israelita.

7 »”Apartarán también dos porciones de tierra especiales para el príncipe. La primera porción colindará con el lado oriental de las tierras sagradas y la ciudad, y la segunda colindará con el lado occidental. De modo que los límites extremos hacia el oriente y el occidente de las tierras del príncipe quedarán alineados con los límites oriental y occidental de los territorios de las tribus.

8 Estas dos porciones de tierra se le asignarán al príncipe. Entonces mis príncipes dejarán de oprimir a mi pueblo y de robarle; repartirán el resto de la tierra al pueblo, asignando una porción a cada tribu.

9 Reglas para los príncipes<br />»”Esto dice el Señor<br /> Soberano: ¡basta ya, príncipes de Israel! Abandonen la violencia y la opresión, y hagan lo que es justo y correcto. Dejen de estafar a mi pueblo y de robarle su tierra. No los desalojen de sus casas, dice el Señor<br /> Soberano.

10 Utilicen solamente pesas y balanzas legítimas, y medidas exactas, tanto para sólidos como para líquidos.

11 El homer<br /> será la unidad estándar para medir volúmenes. Tanto el efa como el bato<br /> equivaldrán a un décimo de homer.

12 La unidad estándar para medir pesos será el siclo de plata.<br /> Un siclo equivaldrá a veinte geras y sesenta siclos equivaldrán a una mina.

13 Ofrendas y celebraciones especiales<br />»”Tendrán que pagarle al príncipe el siguiente impuesto: una canasta de trigo o cebada por cada sesenta<br /> que cosechen,

14 el uno por ciento de su aceite de oliva

15 y una oveja o cabra por cada doscientas que haya en los rebaños de Israel. Esas serán las ofrendas de grano, ofrendas quemadas y ofrendas de paz que harán expiación por quienes las presenten, dice el Señor<br /> Soberano.

16 Todo el pueblo de Israel debe contribuir y llevar esas ofrendas al príncipe.

17 Al príncipe le corresponderá proveer las ofrendas que se entregan en los festivales religiosos, las celebraciones de luna nueva, los días de descanso y todas las demás ocasiones similares. Él también proveerá las ofrendas por el pecado, las ofrendas quemadas, las ofrendas de grano, las ofrendas líquidas y las ofrendas de paz, para purificar a los israelitas y así hacerlos justos ante el Señor<br />.

18 »”Esto dice el Señor<br /> Soberano: a comienzos de la primavera, el primer día de cada año nuevo,<br /> sacrifica un becerro sin defecto para purificar el templo.

19 El sacerdote tomará la sangre de ese sacrificio por el pecado y la pondrá sobre los marcos de la puerta del templo, sobre las cuatro esquinas de la saliente superior del altar y sobre los postes de la puerta de entrada al atrio interior.

20 Haz lo mismo el séptimo día del año nuevo por cualquiera que haya pecado por error o por ignorancia. De ese modo purificarás<br /> el templo.

21 »”El día catorce del primer mes,<br /> deberán celebrar la Pascua, un festival que durará siete días. El pan que coman durante ese tiempo será preparado sin levadura.

22 El día de la Pascua, el príncipe proveerá un becerro como sacrificio por su propio pecado y el pecado del pueblo de Israel.

23 Cada uno de los siete días del festival, el príncipe preparará una ofrenda quemada para el Señor<br />, la cual consistirá en siete becerros y siete carneros sin defecto. También se entregará un cabrito cada día como ofrenda por el pecado.

24 El príncipe proveerá una canasta de harina como ofrenda de grano y unos cuatro litros de aceite de oliva<br /> con cada becerro y cada carnero.

1 “ ‘When you allot the land as an inheritance, you are to present to the LORD a portion of the land as a sacred district, 25,000 cubits long and 20,000 cubits wide; the entire area will be holy.

2 Of this, a section 500 cubits square is to be for the sanctuary, with 50 cubits around it for open land.

3 In the sacred district, measure off a section 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide. In it will be the sanctuary, the Most Holy Place.

4 It will be the sacred portion of the land for the priests, who minister in the sanctuary and who draw near to minister before the LORD. It will be a place for their houses as well as a holy place for the sanctuary.

5 An area 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide will belong to the Levites, who serve in the temple, as their possession for towns to live in.

6 “ ‘You are to give the city as its property an area 5,000 cubits wide and 25,000 cubits long, adjoining the sacred portion; it will belong to all Israel.

7 “ ‘The prince will have the land bordering each side of the area formed by the sacred district and the property of the city. It will extend westward from the west side and eastward from the east side, running lengthwise from the western to the eastern border parallel to one of the tribal portions.

8 This land will be his possession in Israel. And my princes will no longer oppress my people but will allow the people of Israel to possess the land according to their tribes.

9 “ ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You have gone far enough, princes of Israel! Give up your violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Stop dispossessing my people, declares the Sovereign LORD.

10 You are to use accurate scales, an accurate ephah and an accurate bath.

11 The ephah and the bath are to be the same size, the bath containing a tenth of a homer and the ephah a tenth of a homer; the homer is to be the standard measure for both.

12 The shekel is to consist of twenty gerahs. Twenty shekels plus twenty-five shekels plus fifteen shekels equal one mina.

13 “ ‘This is the special gift you are to offer: a sixth of an ephah from each homer of wheat and a sixth of an ephah from each homer of barley.

14 The prescribed portion of olive oil, measured by the bath, is a tenth of a bath from each cor (which consists of ten baths or one homer, for ten baths are equivalent to a homer).

15 Also one sheep is to be taken from every flock of two hundred from the well-watered pastures of Israel. These will be used for the grain offerings, burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to make atonement for the people, declares the Sovereign LORD.

16 All the people of the land will be required to give this special offering to the prince in Israel.

17 It will be the duty of the prince to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings and drink offerings at the festivals, the New Moons and the Sabbaths—at all the appointed festivals of Israel. He will provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to make atonement for the Israelites.

18 “ ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In the first month on the first day you are to take a young bull without defect and purify the sanctuary.

19 The priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the temple, on the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar and on the gateposts of the inner court.

20 You are to do the same on the seventh day of the month for anyone who sins unintentionally or through ignorance; so you are to make atonement for the temple.

21 “ ‘In the first month on the fourteenth day you are to observe the Passover, a festival lasting seven days, during which you shall eat bread made without yeast.

22 On that day the prince is to provide a bull as a sin offering for himself and for all the people of the land.

23 Every day during the seven days of the festival he is to provide seven bulls and seven rams without defect as a burnt offering to the LORD, and a male goat for a sin offering.

24 He is to provide as a grain offering an ephah for each bull and an ephah for each ram, along with a hin of olive oil for each ephah.

25 “ ‘During the seven days of the festival, which begins in the seventh month on the fifteenth day, he is to make the same provision for sin offerings, burnt offerings, grain offerings and oil.
