2 SEÑOR, he sabido de tu fama;tus obras, SEÑOR, me dejan pasmado.Realízalas de nuevo en nuestros días,dalas a conocer en nuestro tiempo;en tu ira, ten presente tu misericordia.
2 LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.
3 De Temán viene Dios,del monte de Parán viene el Santo. SelahSu gloria cubre el cieloy su alabanza llena la tierra.
3 God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran.His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth.
4 Su brillantez es la del relámpago;rayos brotan de sus manos;¡tras ellos se esconde su poder!
4 His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden.
5 Una plaga mortal lo precede,un fuego abrasador le sigue los pasos.
5 Plague went before him; pestilence followed his steps.
6 Se detiene, y la tierra se estremece;lanza una mirada, y las naciones tiemblan.Se desmoronan las antiguas montañasy se desploman las viejas colinas,pero los caminos de Dios son eternos.
6 He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled and the age-old hills collapsed— but he marches on forever.
7 He visto afligidos los campamentos de Cusán,y angustiadas las moradas de Madián.
7 I saw the tents of Cushan in distress, the dwellings of Midian in anguish.
8 ¿Te enojaste, oh SEÑOR, con los ríos?¿Estuviste airado contra las corrientes?¿Tan enfurecido estabas contra el marque cabalgaste en tus caballosy montaste en tus carros victoriosos?
8 Were you angry with the rivers, LORD? Was your wrath against the streams? Did you rage against the sea when you rode your horses and your chariots to victory?
9 Descubriste tu arco,llenaste de flechas tu aljaba.SelahTus ríos surcan la tierra;
9 You uncovered your bow, you called for many arrows. You split the earth with rivers;
10 las montañas te ven y se retuercen.Pasan los torrentes de agua,y ruge el abismo, levantando sus manos.
10 the mountains saw you and writhed. Torrents of water swept by; the deep roared and lifted its waves on high.
11 El sol y la luna se detienen en el cielopor el fulgor de tus veloces flechas,por el deslumbrante brillo de tu lanza.
11 Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear.
12 Indignado, marchas sobre la tierra;lleno de ira, trillas a las naciones.
12 In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations.
13 Saliste a liberar a tu pueblo,saliste a salvar a tu ungido.Aplastaste al rey de la perversa dinastía,¡lo desnudaste de pies a cabeza! Selah
13 You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot.
14 Con tu lanza les partiste la cabeza a sus guerreros,que enfurecidos querían dispersarme,que con placer arrogante se lanzaron contra mí,como quien se lanza contra un pobre indefenso.
14 With his own spear you pierced his head when his warriors stormed out to scatter us, gloating as though about to devour the wretched who were in hiding.
15 Pisoteaste el mar con tus corceles,agitando las inmensas aguas.
15 You trampled the sea with your horses, churning the great waters.
16 Al oírlo, se estremecieron mis entrañas;a su voz, me temblaron los labios;la carcoma me caló en los huesos,y se me aflojaron las piernas.Pero yo espero con pacienciael día en que la calamidadvendrá sobre la nación que nos invade.
16 I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us.
17 Aunque la higuera no florezca,ni haya frutos en las vides;aunque falle la cosecha del olivo,y los campos no produzcan alimentos;aunque en el aprisco no haya ovejas,ni ganado alguno en los establos;
17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
18 aun así, yo me regocijaré en el SEÑOR,¡me alegraré en Dios, mi libertador!
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
19 El SEÑOR omnipotente es mi fuerza;da a mis pies la ligereza de una gacelay me hace caminar por las alturas.
19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.
