1 Festivales establecidos<br />El Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

2 «Da las siguientes instrucciones al pueblo de Israel. Estos son los festivales establecidos por el Señor<br />, los cuales ustedes proclamarán como días oficiales de asamblea santa:

3 tienes seis días en la semana para hacer tu trabajo habitual, pero el séptimo es un día de descanso absoluto, un día oficial de asamblea santa. Es el día de descanso del Señor<br />, y tendrás que guardarlo dondequiera que vivas.

4 »Además del día de descanso, estos son los festivales establecidos por el Señor<br />, los días oficiales para asamblea santa que deberán celebrarse en las fechas señaladas cada año.

5 La Pascua y el Festival de los Panes sin Levadura<br />»La Pascua del Señor<br /> comienza a la caída del sol en el día catorce del primer mes.

6 Al día siguiente, el día quince del mes, comenzarás a celebrar el Festival de los Panes sin Levadura. Este festival en honor al Señor<br /> continúa por siete días, y durante ese tiempo, tendrás que preparar el pan que comas sin levadura.

7 El primer día del festival, todo el pueblo dejará el trabajo habitual y celebrará un día oficial de asamblea santa.

8 Durante siete días deberás presentar ofrendas especiales al Señor<br />. Al séptimo día, nuevamente el pueblo dejará todo su trabajo habitual para celebrar un día oficial de asamblea santa».

9 Celebración de la Primera Cosecha<br />Entonces el Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

10 «Da las siguientes instrucciones al pueblo de Israel. Cuando entres en la tierra que te doy y recojas la primera cosecha, lleva al sacerdote el primer manojo de tu primera cosecha de grano.

11 Al día siguiente del día de descanso, el sacerdote la levantará ante el Señor<br /> a fin de que sea aceptada a tu favor.

12 Ese mismo día deberás sacrificar un cordero de un año sin defecto como una ofrenda quemada al Señor<br />.

13 También presentarás una ofrenda de grano de cuatro kilos<br /> de harina selecta humedecida con aceite de oliva. Será una ofrenda especial, un aroma agradable al Señor<br />. Además, debes ofrecer un litro<br /> de vino como ofrenda líquida.

14 No comas pan ni grano tostado o fresco antes de llevar la ofrenda a tu Dios. Esta es una ley perpetua para ti, que se cumplirá de generación en generación dondequiera que vivas.

15 El Festival de la Cosecha<br />»A partir del día que sigue al día de descanso —el día en que lleves el manojo de grano para que sea levantado como una ofrenda especial— contarás siete semanas completas.

16 Cuenta hasta el día después del séptimo día de descanso, estos son cincuenta días después. Entonces presentarás al Señor<br /> una ofrenda de grano nuevo.

17 Desde dondequiera que vivas, llevarás dos panes para ser levantados delante del Señor<br /> como ofrenda especial. Prepara cada uno de los panes con cuatro kilos de harina selecta, y hornéalos con levadura. Serán una ofrenda al Señor<br /> de la primera de tus cosechas.

18 Junto con el pan, presenta siete corderos de un año sin defecto, un becerro y dos carneros como ofrendas quemadas al Señor<br />. Estas ofrendas quemadas, junto con las ofrendas de grano y las ofrendas líquidas, serán una ofrenda especial, un aroma agradable al Señor<br />.

19 Luego deberás ofrecer un chivo como ofrenda por el pecado y dos corderos de un año como ofrenda de paz.

20 »El sacerdote levantará los dos corderos como una ofrenda especial al Señor<br />, junto con los panes que representan la primera de las cosechas. Estas ofrendas, que son santas para el Señor<br />, les pertenecen a los sacerdotes.

21 Ese mismo día será proclamado un día oficial de asamblea santa, un día en que no harás ningún trabajo habitual. Esta es una ley perpetua para ti, que se cumplirá de generación en generación dondequiera que vivas.

22 »Cuando recojas las cosechas de tu tierra, no siegues el grano en las orillas de tus campos ni levantes lo que caiga de los segadores. Déjalos para los pobres y los extranjeros que viven entre ustedes. Yo soy el Señor<br /> tu Dios».

23 El Festival de las Trompetas<br />El Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

24 «Da las siguientes instrucciones al pueblo de Israel: el primer día del mes señalado, a principios del otoño,<br /> guardarás un día de descanso absoluto. Será un día oficial de asamblea santa, un día conmemorado con toques fuertes de trompeta.

25 No harás ningún trabajo habitual en ese día. En cambio, deberás presentar ofrendas especiales al Señor<br />».

26 El Día del Perdón<br />El Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

27 «Asegúrate de celebrar el Día del Perdón el décimo día del mismo mes, nueve días después del Festival de las Trompetas.<br /> Lo celebrarás como día oficial de asamblea santa, un día para negarte a ti mismo<br /> y presentar ofrendas especiales al Señor<br />.

28 No hagas ningún trabajo durante todo el día porque es el Día del Perdón, cuando se presentan ofrendas de purificación por ti, para hacerte justo<br /> ante el Señor<br /> tu Dios.

29 Los que no se nieguen a sí mismos en ese día serán excluidos del pueblo de Dios;

30 y yo destruiré a aquellos de entre ustedes que hagan algún trabajo en ese día.

31 ¡No deberás hacer ningún trabajo en absoluto! Esta es una ley perpetua para ti, que se cumplirá de generación en generación dondequiera que vivas.

32 Este será un día de descanso absoluto, y en ese día debes negarte a ti mismo. Este día de descanso comenzará al atardecer del sol del noveno día del mes y se extenderá hasta el atardecer del décimo día».

33 El Festival de las Enramadas<br />El Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

34 «Da las siguientes instrucciones al pueblo de Israel: empieza a celebrar el Festival de las Enramadas<br /> el día quince del mes señalado, cinco días después del Día del Perdón.<br /> Este festival en honor al Señor<br /> durará siete días.

35 El primer día del festival deberás proclamar un día oficial de asamblea santa, en el cual no harás ningún trabajo habitual.

36 Durante siete días presentarás ofrendas especiales al Señor<br />. El octavo día es otro día santo en el que presentarás tus ofrendas especiales al Señor<br />. Esta será una ocasión solemne, y en ese día no se permite ningún trabajo habitual.

37 »(Estos son los festivales establecidos por el Señor<br />. Los celebrarás cada año como días oficiales de asamblea santa presentando ofrendas especiales al Señor<br /> —ofrendas quemadas, ofrendas de grano, sacrificios y ofrendas líquidas— cada una en su debido día.

38 Tendrán que celebrar estos festivales además de los días de descanso habituales del Señor<br />. Las ofrendas también son adicionales a las ofrendas personales, a las ofrendas que das para cumplir tus votos y a las ofrendas voluntarias que le presentas al Señor<br />).

39 »Recuerda que este festival de siete días en honor al Señor<br /> —el Festival de las Enramadas— comienza el día quince del mes establecido,<br /> después que hayas cosechado todo lo que produce la tierra. El primer y el octavo día del festival serán días para descansar completamente.

40 El primer día, recogerás ramas de árboles hermosos:<br /> pueden ser hojas de palmeras, ramas de árboles frondosos y de sauces que crecen junto a los arroyos. Luego celebra con alegría ante el Señor<br /> tu Dios durante siete días.

41 Deberás celebrar este festival al Señor<br /> cada año durante siete días. Esta es una ley perpetua para ti, que se cumplirá en el mes establecido<br /> de generación en generación.

42 Durante siete días deberás vivir en pequeñas enramadas. Todos los israelitas de nacimiento deberán vivir en enramadas.

43 Esto le recordará a cada nueva generación de israelitas que yo hice que sus antepasados vivieran en enramadas cuando los rescaté de la tierra de Egipto. Yo soy el Señor<br /> tu Dios».

1 The LORD said to Moses,

2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the LORD, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.

3 “ ‘There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a sabbath to the LORD.

4 “ ‘These are the LORD’s appointed festivals, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:

5 The LORD’s Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.

6 On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD’s Festival of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast.

7 On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

8 For seven days present a food offering to the LORD. And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.’ ”

9 The LORD said to Moses,

10 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest.

11 He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.

12 On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the LORD a lamb a year old without defect,

13 together with its grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with olive oil—a food offering presented to the LORD, a pleasing aroma—and its drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine.

14 You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

15 “ ‘From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.

16 Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.

17 From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the LORD.

18 Present with this bread seven male lambs, each a year old and without defect, one young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the LORD, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings—a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

19 Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering and two lambs, each a year old, for a fellowship offering.

20 The priest is to wave the two lambs before the LORD as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the LORD for the priest.

21 On that same day you are to proclaim a sacred assembly and do no regular work. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

22 “ ‘When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the LORD your God.’ ”

23 The LORD said to Moses,

24 “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts.

25 Do no regular work, but present a food offering to the LORD.’ ”

26 The LORD said to Moses,

27 “The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present a food offering to the LORD.

28 Do not do any work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD your God.

29 Those who do not deny themselves on that day must be cut off from their people.

30 I will destroy from among their people anyone who does any work on that day.

31 You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

32 It is a day of sabbath rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath.”

33 The LORD said to Moses,

34 “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the LORD’s Festival of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days.

35 The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work.

36 For seven days present food offerings to the LORD, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present a food offering to the LORD. It is the closing special assembly; do no regular work.

37 (“ ‘These are the LORD’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing food offerings to the LORD—the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings required for each day.

38 These offerings are in addition to those for the LORD’s Sabbaths and in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings you give to the LORD.)

39 “ ‘So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a day of sabbath rest, and the eighth day also is a day of sabbath rest.

40 On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees—from palms, willows and other leafy trees—and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.

41 Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month.

42 Live in temporary shelters for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters

43 so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.’ ”

44 So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed festivals of the LORD.
