1 L’Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè e ad Aaronne, dicendo:

2 "Parlate ai figliuoli d’Israele e dite loro: Chiunque ha una gonorrea, a motivo della sua gonorrea è impuro.

3 La sua impurità sta nella sua gonorrea; sia la sua gonorrea continua o intermittente, la impurità esiste.

4 Ogni letto sul quale si coricherà colui che ha la gonorrea, sarà impuro; e ogni oggetto sul quale si sederà sarà impuro.

5 Chi toccherà il letto di colui si laverà le vesti, laverà se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà impuro fino alla sera.

6 Chi si sederà sopra un oggetto qualunque sul quale si sia seduto colui che ha la gonorrea, si laverà le vesti, laverà se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà impuro fino alla sera.

7 Chi toccherà il corpo di colui che ha la gonorrea, si laverà le vesti, laverà se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà impuro fino alla sera.

8 Se colui che ha la gonorrea sputerà sopra uno che è puro, questi si laverà le vesti, laverà se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà impuro fino alla sera.

9 Ogni sella su cui sarà salito chi ha la gonorrea, sarà impura.

10 Chiunque toccherà qualsivoglia cosa che sia stata sotto quel tale, sarà impuro fino alla sera. E chi porterà cotali oggetti si laverà le vesti, laverà se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà impuro sino alla sera.

11 Chiunque sarà toccato da colui che ha la gonorrea, se questi non s’era lavato le mani, dovrà lavarsi le vesti, lavare se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà immondo fino alla sera.

12 Il vaso di terra toccato da colui che ha la gonorrea, sarà spezzato; e ogni vaso di legno sarà lavato nell’acqua.

13 Quando colui che ha la gonorrea sarà purificato della sua gonorrea, conterà sette giorni per la sua purificazione; poi si laverà le vesti, laverà il suo corpo nell’acqua viva, e sarà puro.

14 L’ottavo giorno prenderà due tortore o due giovani piccioni, verrà davanti all’Eterno all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, e li darà al sacerdote.

15 E il sacerdote li offrirà: uno come sacrifizio per il peccato, l’altro come olocausto; e il sacerdote farà l’espiazione per lui davanti all’Eterno, a motivo della sua gonorrea.

16 L’uomo da cui sarà uscito seme genitale si laverà tutto il corpo nell’acqua, e sarà impuro fino alla sera.

17 Ogni veste e ogni pelle su cui sarà seme genitale, si laveranno nell’acqua e saranno impuri fino alla sera.

18 La donna e l’uomo che giaceranno insieme carnalmente, si laveranno ambedue nell’acqua e saranno impuri fino alla sera.

19 Quando una donna avrà i suoi corsi e il sangue le fluirà dalla carne, la sua impurità durerà sette giorni; e chiunque la toccherà sarà impuro fino alla sera.

20 Ogni letto sul quale si sarà messa a dormire durante la sua impurità, sarà impuro; e ogni mobile sul quale si sarà messa a sedere, sarà impuro.

21 Chiunque toccherà il letto di colei si laverà le vesti, laverà se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà impuro fino alla sera.

22 E chiunque toccherà qualsivoglia mobile sul quale ella si sarà seduta, si laverà le vesti, laverà se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà impuro fino alla sera.

23 E se l’uomo si trovava sul letto o sul mobile dov’ella sedeva quand’è avvenuto il contatto, egli sarà impuro fino alla sera.

24 E se un uomo giace con essa, e avvien che lo tocchi la impurità di lei, egli sarà impuro sette giorni; e ogni letto sul quale si coricherà, sarà impuro.

25 La donna che avrà un flusso di sangue per parecchi giorni, fuori del tempo de’ suoi corsi, o che avrà questo flusso oltre il tempo de’ suoi corsi, sarà impura per tutto il tempo del flusso, com’è al tempo de’ suoi corsi.

26 Ogni letto sul quale si coricherà durante tutto il tempo del suo flusso, sarà per lei come il letto sul quale si corica quando ha i suoi corsi; e ogni mobile sul quale si sederà sarà impuro, com’è impuro quand’ella ha i suoi corsi.

27 E chiunque toccherà quelle cose sarà immondo; si laverà le vesti, laverà se stesso nell’acqua, e sarà impuro fino alla sera.

28 E quand’ella sarà purificata del suo flusso, conterà sette giorni, e poi sarà pura.

29 L’ottavo giorno prenderà due tortore o due giovani piccioni, e li porterà al sacerdote all’ingresso della tenda di convegno.

30 E il sacerdote ne offrirà uno come sacrifizio per il peccato e l’altro come olocausto; il sacerdote farà per lei l’espiazione, davanti all’Eterno, del flusso che la rendeva impura.

31 Così terrete lontani i figliuoli d’Israele da ciò che potrebbe contaminarli, affinché non muoiano a motivo della loro impurità, contaminando il mio tabernacolo ch’è in mezzo a loro.

32 Questa è la legge relativa a colui che ha una gonorrea e a colui dal quale è uscito seme genitale che lo rende immondo,

33 e la legge relativa a colei che è indisposta a motivo de’ suoi corsi, all’uomo o alla donna che ha un flusso, e all’uomo che si corica con donna impura".

1 5 And Hashem spoke unto Moshe and to Aharon, saying,

2 Speak unto the Bnei Yisroel, and say unto them, When any ish hath a discharge from his basar, because of his discharge he is tamei.

3 And this shall be his tumah (uncleanness) in his discharge: whether his basar run with his discharge, or his basar has stopped from his discharge, it is his tumah (uncleanness).

4 Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the discharge, is tamei; and everything, whereon he sitteth, shall be tamei.

5 And whosoever toucheth his bed shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

6 And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the discharge shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

7 And he that toucheth the basar of him that hath the discharge shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

8 And if he that hath the discharge spit upon him that is tahor, then he shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

9 And whatsoever riding seat he rideth upon that hath the discharge shall be tamei.

10 And whosoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be tamei until the erev; and he that picks up any of those things shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

11 And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the discharge, and hath not rinsed his hands in mayim, he shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

12 And the clay pottery, that he toucheth which hath the discharge, shall be broken; and every wooden vessel shall be rinsed in mayim.

13 And when he that hath a discharge is made tahor of his discharge; then he shall number to himself seven days for his tohorah (cleansing), and immerse his garments, and immerse his basar in running mayim, and shall be tahor.

14 And on the yom shemini he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before Hashem unto the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed, and give them unto the kohen;

15 And the kohen shall sacrifice them, the one for a chattat, and the other for an olah (burnt offering); and the kohen shall make kapporah for him before Hashem for his discharge.

16 And if any ish [baal keri, a person with a discharge of semen], if his shikhvat zera (emission of semen) go out from him, then he shall immerse his entire body in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

17 And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the shikhvat zera, shall be immersed with mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

18 The isha also with whom ish shall lie with shikhvat zera, they shall both immerse themselves in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

19 And if an isha have a discharge, and her discharge in her body be dahm, she shall be in her state of niddah (state of menstrual separation) seven days; and whosoever toucheth her shall be tamei until the erev.

20 And everything that she lieth upon in her niddah shall be tamei; everything also that she sitteth upon shall be tamei.

21 And whosoever toucheth her bed shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

22 And whosoever toucheth anything that she sat upon shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

23 And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be tamei until the erev.

24 And if any ish lie with her at all, and her niddah (menstrual flow) be upon him, he shall be tamei seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be tamei.

25 And if an isha have a discharge of her dahm many days out of the time of her niddah, or if it run beyond the time of her niddah, all the days of the discharge of her tumah shall be as the days of her niddah; she shall be tamei.

26 Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her discharge shall be unto her as the bed of her niddah; and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be tamei, as the tumah of her niddah.

27 And whosoever toucheth those things shall be tamei, and shall immerse his garments, and immerse himself in mayim, and be tamei until the erev.

28 But if she be tohorah of her discharge, then she shall count to herself seven days, and after that she shall be tohorah.

29 And on the yom shemini she shall take unto her two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the kohen, to the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed.

30 And the kohen shall sacrifice the one for a chattat, and the other for an olah (burnt offering); and the kohen shall make kapporah for her before Hashem for the discharge of her tumah.

31 Thus shall ye separate the Bnei Yisroel from their tumah; that they die not in their tumah, when they defile My Mishkan that is among them.

32 This is the torah of him that hath a discharge, and of him whose shikhvat zera goeth from him, and is made tamei therewith;

33 And of her that suffers through her niddah, and of him that hath a discharge, of the zachar, and of the nekevah, and of him that lieth with her that is tameiah.
