1 L’Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè dicendo:

4 And Hashem spoke unto Moshe, saying,
2 "Ordina ai figliuoli d’Israele che ti portino dell’olio di uliva puro, vergine, per il candelabro, per tener le lampade continuamente accese.

Command the Bnei Yisroel, that they bring unto thee pure shemen zayit beaten for the light, to kindle the Ner Tamid (Perpetual Lamp).
3 Aaronne lo preparerà nella tenda di convegno, fuori del velo che sta davanti alla testimonianza, perché le lampade ardano del continuo, dalla sera al mattino, davanti all’Eterno. E’ una legge perpetua, di generazione in generazione.

Outside the Parochet (Curtain) of the Edut, in the Ohel Mo’ed shall Aharon set it in order from erev unto boker before Hashem tamid (continually); it shall be a chukkat olam in your dorot.
4 Egli le disporrà sul candelabro d’oro puro, perché ardano del continuo davanti all’Eterno.

He shall set in order the nerot (lamps) upon the Menorah Hatehorah before Hashem tamid (continually).
5 Prenderai pure del fior di farina, e ne farai cuocere dodici focacce; ogni focaccia sarà di due decimi d’efa.

And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake Sheteym Esreh Challot thereof; two tenths of an ephah shall be in Challah HaEchad.
6 Le metterai in due file, sei per fila, sulla tavola d’oro puro davanti all’Eterno.

And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the Shulchan HaTahor before Hashem.
7 E porrai dell’incenso puro sopra ogni fila, e sarà sul pane come una ricordanza, come un sacrifizio fatto mediante il fuoco all’Eterno.

And thou shalt put levonah zakkah (pure incense) upon each row, that it may be on the lechem for a memorial portion, even an offering made by eish unto Hashem.
8 Ogni giorno di sabato si disporranno i pani davanti all’Eterno, del continuo; saranno forniti dai figliuoli d’Israele; è un patto perpetuo.

Shabbos after Shabbos he shall set it in order before Hashem tamid, from the Bnei Yisroel as a Brit Olam.
9 I pani apparterranno ad Aaronne e ai suoi figliuoli, ed essi li mangeranno in luogo santo; poiché saranno per loro cosa santissima tra i sacrifizi fatti mediante il fuoco all’Eterno. E’ una legge perpetua".

And it shall be for Aharon and for his Banim; and they shall eat it in the Makom Kadosh; for it is kodesh kodashim unto Him of the offerings of Hashem made by eish, a chok olam.
10 Or il figliuolo di una donna israelita e di un Egiziano uscì tra i figliuoli d’Israele; e fra questo figliuolo della donna israelita e un Israelita nacque una lite.

And the ben isha Yisroelit, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the Bnei Yisroel; and this ben isha Yisroeli and a man of Yisroel fought together in the machaneh;
11 Il figliuolo della Israelita bestemmiò il nome dell’Eterno, e lo maledisse; onde fu condotto a Mosè. La madre di quel tale si chiamava Shelomith figliuola di Dibri, della tribù di Dan.

And the ben haisha Yisroelit pronounced HaShem and blasphemed in a curse. And they brought him unto Moshe; (and shem immo was Shlomit bat Divri, of the tribe of Dan;)
12 Lo misero in prigione, finché fosse deciso che cosa fare per ordine dell’Eterno.

And they put him in custody, that the mind of Hashem might be showed them.
13 E l’Eterno parlò a Mosè dicendo:

And Hashem spoke unto Moshe, saying,
14 "Mena quel bestemmiatore fuori del campo; e tutti quelli che l’hanno udito posino le mani sul suo capo, e tutta la raunanza lo lapidi.

Bring forth him that hath blasphemed outside the machaneh; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let kol HaEdah stone him.
15 E parla ai figliuoli d’Israele, e di’ loro: Chiunque maledirà il suo Dio porterà la pena del suo peccato.

And thou shalt speak unto the Bnei Yisroel, saying, Whosoever curseth Elohav shall bear his chet.
16 E chi bestemmia il nome dell’Eterno dovrà esser messo a morte; tutta la raunanza lo dovrà lapidare. Sia straniero o nativo del paese, quando bestemmi il nome dell’Eterno, sarà messo a morte.

And he that blasphemeth the Shem of Hashem, he shall surely be put to death, and kol HaEdah shall certainly stone him; as well the ger, as the ezrach, when he blasphemeth the Shem of Hashem, shall be put to death.
17 Chi percuote mortalmente un uomo qualsivoglia, dovrà esser messo a morte.

And he that taketh the nefesh of any man shall surely be put to death.
18 Chi percuote a morte un capo di bestiame, lo pagherà: vita per vita.

And he that taketh the nefesh of a beast shall make it good; nefesh tachat nefesh.
19 Quand’uno avrà fatto una lesione al suo prossimo, gli sarà fatto com’egli ha fatto:

And if a man cause a mum in his neighbor; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;
20 frattura per frattura, occhio per occhio, dente per dente; gli si farà la stessa lesione ch’egli ha fatta all’altro.

Fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he hath caused a mum in an adam, so shall it be done to him.
21 Chi uccide un capo di bestiame, lo pagherà; ma chi uccide un uomo sarà messo a morte.

And he that killeth a beast, he shall restitute it; and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
22 Avrete una stessa legge tanto per il forestiero quanto per il nativo del paese; poiché io sono l’Eterno, l’Iddio vostro".

Ye shall have mishpat echad, as well for the ger, as for the ezrach: for I am Hashem Eloheichem.
23 E Mosè parlò ai figliuoli d’Israele, i quali trassero quel bestemmiatore fuori del campo, e lo lapidarono. Così i figliuoli d’Israele fecero quello che l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè.

And Moshe spoke to the Bnei Yisroel, that they should bring forth him that had blasphemed out of the machaneh, and stone him with stones. And the Bnei Yisroel did as Hashem commanded Moshe.
