Leviticus 3

GNT 1 When any of you offer one of your cattle as a fellowship offering, it is to be a bull or a cow without any defects. NIV 1 “ ‘If your offering is a fellowship offering, and you offer an animal from the herd, whether male or female, you are to present before the LORD an animal without defect. GNT 2 You shall put your hand on the head of the animal and kill it at the entrance of the Tent of the Lord's presence. The Aaronite priests shall throw the blood against all four sides of the altar NIV 2 You are to lay your hand on the head of your offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash the blood against the sides of the altar. GNT 3 and present the following parts of the animal as a food offering to the Lord: all the fat on the internal organs, NIV 3 From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering to the LORD: the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, GNT 4 the kidneys and the fat on them, and the best part of the liver. NIV 4 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. GNT 5 The priests shall burn all this on the altar along with the burnt offerings. The odor of this food offering is pleasing to the Lord. NIV 5 Then Aaron’s sons are to burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering that is lying on the burning wood; it is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. GNT 6 If a sheep or goat is used as a fellowship offering, it may be male or female, but it must be without any defects. NIV 6 “ ‘If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering to the LORD, you are to offer a male or female without defect. GNT 17 No Israelite may eat any fat or any blood; this is a rule to be kept forever by all Israelites wherever they live. NIV 17 “ ‘This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.’ ”
