1 Yēsū hé méntǔ jiāng jìn Yēlùsǎlĕng , dào le Bófǎqí hé Bódàní , zaì Gǎnlǎnshān nàli . Yēsū jiù dǎfa liǎng ge méntǔ ,
1 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples,
2 Duì tāmen shuō , nǐmen wǎng duìmiàn cúnzi lǐ qù . yī jìn qù de shíhou , bì kànjian yī pǐ lü jū shuān zaì nàli , shì cónglái méiyǒu rén qí guo de . kĕyǐ jiĕkāi qiā lái .
2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here.
3 Ruò yǒu rén duì nǐmen shuō , wèishénme zuò zhè shì . nǐmen jiù shuō , zhǔ yào yòng tā . nà rén bì lìshí ràng nǐmen qiā lái .
3 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’ ”
4 Tāmen qù le , biàn kànjian yī pǐ lü jū , shuān zaì mén waì jiēdào shang , jiù bǎ tā jiĕkāi .
4 They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it,
5 Zaì nàli zhàn zhe de rén , yǒu jǐ ge shuō , nǐmen jiĕ lü jū zuò shénme .
5 some people standing there asked, “What are you doing, untying that colt?”
6 Méntǔ zhào zhe Yēsū suǒ shuō de huídá , nàxiē rén jiù rènpíng tāmen qiā qù le .
6 They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go.
7 Tāmen bǎ lü jū qiā dào Yēsū nàli , bǎ zìjǐ de yīfu dā zaì shàngmian , Yēsū jiù qí shang .
7 When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it.
8 Yǒu xǔduō rén , bǎ yīfu pū zaì lù shang , yĕ yǒu rén bǎ tiánjiān de shùzhī kǎn xià lái , pū zaì lù shang .
8 Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields.
9 Qián xíng hòu suí de rén , dōu hǎn zhe shuō , Hésǎnnà , ( Hésǎnnà yuán yǒu qiú jiù de yìsi , zaì cǐ nǎi shì chēngsòng de huà ) fèng zhǔ míng lái de , shì yīngdāng chēngsòng de .
9 Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, “Hosanna! ” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
10 Nà jiāngyào lái de wǒ zǔ Dàwèi zhī guó , shì yīngdāng chēngsòng de . gāo gāo zaì shang , Hésǎnnà .
10 “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
11 Yēsū jìn le Yēlùsǎlĕng , rù le shèng diàn , zhōuwéi kàn le gèyàng wùjiàn . tiānsè yǐ wǎn , jiù hé shí èr ge méntǔ chū chéng wǎng Bódàní qù le .
11 Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
12 Dì èr tiān , tāmen cóng Bódàní chūlai . Yēsū è le ,
12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
13 Yuǎn yuǎn de kànjian yī kē wúhuāguǒ shù , shù shang yǒu yèzi , jiù wǎng nàli qù , huòzhĕ zaì shù shang kĕyǐ zhǎo zhaó shénme . dào le shù xià , jìng zhǎo bu zhaó shénme , bú guò yǒu yèzi . yīnwei bú shì shōu wúhuāguǒ de shíhou .
13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.
14 Yēsū jiù shù shuō , cóng jīn yǐhòu , yǒng méiyǒu rén chī nǐde guǒzi . tāde méntǔ yĕ tīngjian le .
14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.
15 Tāmen lái dào Yēlùsǎlĕng , Yēsū jìnrù shèng diàn , gǎn chū diàn lǐ zuò mǎimaì de rén , tuī dǎo duìhuàn yínqián zhī rén de zhuōzi , hé maì gēzi zhī rén de dèng zǐ .
15 On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves,
16 Yĕ bù xǔ rén ná zhe qìjù cóng diàn lǐ jīngguò .
16 and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts.
17 Biàn jiàoxun tāmen shuō , jīng shang bú shì jì zhe shuō , wǒde diàn bì chēngwèi wàn guó dǎogào de diàn ma . nǐmen dǎo shǐ tā chéngwéi zéi wō le .
17 And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”
18 Jìsīzhǎng hé Wénshì tīngjian zhè huà jiù xiǎng fǎzi yào chúmiĕ Yēsū . què yòu pà tā , yīnwei zhòngrén dōu xīqí tāde jiàoxun .
18 The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching.
19 Mĕi tiān wǎnshang , Yēsū chū chéng qù .
19 When evening came, Jesus and his disciples went out of the city.
20 Zǎochen , tāmen cóng nàli jīngguò , kànjian wúhuāguǒ shù lián gēn dōu kū gān le .
20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots.
21 Bǐdé xiǎngqǐ Yēsū de huà lái , jiù duì tā shuō , Lābǐ , qǐng kàn , nǐ suǒ zhòuzǔ de wúhuāguǒ shù , yǐjing kū gān le .
21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”
22 Yēsū huídá shuō , nǐmen dāng xìnfú shén .
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.
23 Wǒ shízaì gàosu nǐmen , wúlùn hé rén duì zhè zuò shān shuō , nǐ nuó kāi cǐ dì tóu zaì hǎi lǐ . tā xīnli ruò bù yíhuò , zhǐ xìn tā suǒ shuō de bì chéng , jiù bì gĕi tā chéng le .
23 “TrulyI tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
24 Suǒyǐ wǒ gàosu nǐmen , fán nǐmen dǎogào qíqiú de , wúlùn shì shénme , zhǐyào xìn shì dé zhaó de , jiù bì dé zhaó .
24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
25 Nǐmen zhàn zhe dǎogào de shíhou , ruò xiǎngqǐ yǒu rén dé zuì nǐmen , jiù dāng raóshù tā , hǎo jiào nǐmen zaì tiān shang de fù , yĕ raóshù nǐmen de guo fàn .
25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
26 Nǐmen ruò bù raóshù rén , nǐmen zaì tiān shang de fù , yĕ bù raóshù nǐmen de guò fàn . ( yǒu gǔ juàn wú cǐ jié )
27 Tāmen yòu lái dào Yēlùsǎlĕng . Yēsū zaì diàn lǐ xíng zǒu de shíhou , Jìsīzhǎng hé Wénshì bìng zhǎnglǎo jìn qián lái ,
27 They arrived again in Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders came to him.
28 Wèn tā shuō , nǐ zhàng zhe shénme quánbǐng zuò zhèxie shì , gĕi nǐ zhè quánbǐng de shì shuí ne .
28 “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you authority to do this?”
29 Yēsū duì tāmen shuō , wǒ yào wèn nǐmen yī jù huà , nǐmen huídá wǒ , wǒ jiù gàosu nǐmen , wǒ zhàng zhe shénme quánbǐng zuò zhè shì .
29 Jesus replied, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
30 Yuēhàn de xǐlǐ , shì cóng tiān shang lái de shì cóng rénjiān lái de ne . nǐmen kĕyǐ huídá wǒ .
30 John’s baptism—was it from heaven, or of human origin? Tell me!”
31 Tāmen bǐcǐ shāng lún shuō , wǒmen ruò shuō cóng tiān shang lái , tā bì shuō , zhèyàng , nǐmen wèishénme bú xìn tā ne .
31 They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’
32 Ruò shuō cóng rénjiān lái , què yòu pà bǎixìng . yīnwei zhòngrén zhēn yǐ Yuēhàn wéi xiānzhī .
32 But if we say, ‘Of human origin’ …” (They feared the people, for everyone held that John really was a prophet.)
33 Yúshì huídá Yēsū shuō , wǒmen bù zhīdào . Yēsū shuō , wǒ yĕ bú gàosu nǐmen , wǒ zhàng zhe shénme quánbǐng zuò zhè shì .
33 So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Jesus said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”
