1 Praise the Lord! You servants of the Lord, praise his name!

Praise Yah! Praise, you servants of Yahweh, Praise the name of Yahweh.
2 May his name be praised, now and forever.

Blessed be the name of Yahweh, From this time forth and forevermore.
3 From the east to the west praise the name of the Lord!

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, Yahweh's name is to be praised.
4 The Lord rules over all nations; his glory is above the heavens.

Yahweh is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.
5 There is no one like the Lord our God. He lives in the heights above,

Who is like Yahweh, our God, Who has his seat on high,
6 but he bends down to see the heavens and the earth.

Who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?
7 He raises the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from their misery
7
He raises up the poor out of the dust. Lifts up the needy from the ash heap;
8 and makes them companions of princes, the princes of his people.
8
That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.
9 He honors the childless wife in her home; he makes her happy by giving her children. Praise the Lord!

He settles the barren woman in her home, As a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!
