1 (112-1) Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.
1 Praise the LORD.Praise the LORD, you his servants; praise the name of the LORD.
2 (112-2) Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.
2 Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore.
3 (112-3) From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.
3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised.
4 (112-4) The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.
4 The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens.
5 (112-5) Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:
5 Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,
6 (112-6) and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?

7 (112-7) Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill:
7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
8 (112-8) That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.
8 he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people.
9 (112-9) Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.
9 He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.
