1 Sing a new song to the Lord; he has done wonderful things! By his own power and holy strength he has won the victory.

<<A Psalm.>> Sing to Yahweh a new song, For he has done marvelous things! His right hand, and his holy arm, have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord announced his victory; he made his saving power known to the nations.

Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3 He kept his promise to the people of Israel with loyalty and constant love for them. All people everywhere have seen the victory of our God.

He has remembered his lovingkindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Sing for joy to the Lord, all the earth; praise him with songs and shouts of joy!

Make a joyful noise to Yahweh, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!
5 Sing praises to the Lord! Play music on the harps!

Sing praises to Yahweh with the harp, With the harp and the voice of melody.
6 Blow trumpets and horns, and shout for joy to the Lord, our king.

With trumpets and sound of the ram's horn. Make a joyful noise before the King, Yahweh.
7 Roar, sea, and every creature in you; sing, earth, and all who live on you!

Let the sea roar with its fullness; The world, and those who dwell therein.
8 Clap your hands, you rivers; you hills, sing together with joy before the Lord,

Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together.
9 because he comes to rule the earth. He will rule the peoples of the world with justice and fairness.

Let them sing before Yahweh, For he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with equity.
