Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
2 Señor, oye mi voz; estén atentos tus oídos a la voz de mi oración.

Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
3 JAH, si retuvieres a los pecados, ¿Señor quién persistirá?

If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
4 Por lo cual <I>hay</I> perdón cerca de ti, para que seas temido.

But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5 Esperé <I>yo</I> al SEÑOR, esperó mi alma; a su palabra he esperado.

I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.

I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7 Espere Israel al SEÑOR; porque con el SEÑOR <I>hay</I> misericordia; y abundante redención cerca de él.

Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
8 Y él redimirá a Israel de todos sus pecados.
