1 Al Vencedor: Salmo de David. Los cielos cuentan la gloria de Dios, y el extendimiento denuncia la obra de sus manos.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 <I>Un</I> día emite palabra al <I>otro</I> día, y <I>una</I> noche a la <I>otra</I> noche declara sabiduría.

Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 No <I>hay</I> idioma ni lenguaje donde no es oída su voz.

They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
4 En toda la tierra salió su hilo, y al cabo del mundo sus palabras. En ellos puso tabernáculo para el sol.

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 Y él, como un novio que sale de su tálamo; se alegra, como un gigante, para correr el camino.

It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 De un extremo de los cielos <I>es</I> su salida, y su curso hasta la extremidad de ellos; y no hay quien se esconda de su calor.

It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.
7 La ley del SEÑOR <I>es</I> perfecta, que convierte el alma; el testimonio del SEÑOR <I>es</I> fiel, que hace sabio al pequeño.

The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 Los mandamientos del SEÑOR <I>son</I> rectos, que alegran el corazón; el precepto del SEÑOR <I>es</I> puro, que alumbra los ojos.

The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 El temor del SEÑOR <I>es</I> limpio, que permanece para siempre; los derechos del SEÑOR <I>son</I> verdad, todos justos.

The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous.
10 Deseables <I>son</I> más que el oro, y más que mucho oro afinado; y dulces más que miel, y que licor de panales.

They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.
11 Tu siervo es además amonestado con ellos; en guardarlos hay grande galardón.

By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Los errores, ¿quién los entenderá? De los encubiertos me libra.

But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Detén asimismo a tu siervo de las soberbias; que no se enseñoreen de mí; entonces seré perfecto, y estaré limpio de gran rebelión.

Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.
14 Sean gratos los dichos de mi boca y la meditación de mi corazón delante de ti, oh SEÑOR, roca mía, y redentor mío

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
