1 Te ensalzaré, oh SEÑOR; porque me has ensalzado; y no hiciste alegrar mis enemigos de mí

I will exalt you, LORD, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
2 SEÑOR Dios mío, clamé a ti, y me sanaste

LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.
3 Oh SEÑOR, hiciste subir mi alma del Seol; me diste vida de mi descendimiento a la sepultura

You, LORD, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit.
4 Cantad al SEÑOR sus misericor-diosos, y celebrad la memoria de su santidad

Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people; praise his holy name.
5 Porque un momento <em>hay</em> en su furor; mas en su voluntad <em>está la</em> vida: por la tarde durará el lloro, y a la mañana <em>vendrá</em> la alegría

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

“What is gained if I am silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness?

Hear, LORD, and be merciful to me; LORD, be my help.”
11 Has tornado mi endecha en baile; desataste mi cilicio, y me ceñiste de alegría

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12 Por tanto a ti canté gloria, y no callé; SEÑOR Dios mío, te alabaré para siempre

that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.
