1 Salmo de Canción para el día del Sábado. Bueno <I>es</I> alabar al SEÑOR, y cantar salmos a tu Nombre, oh Altísimo;

2 anunciar por la mañana tu misericordia, y tu fidelidad en las noches,

3 en el decacordio y en el salterio, en tono suave con el arpa.

4 Por cuanto me has alegrado, oh SEÑOR, con tus obras; en las obras de tus manos me gozo.

5 ¡Cuán grandes son tus obras, oh SEÑOR! Muy profundos <I>son</I> tus pensamientos.

6 El hombre necio no sabe, y el loco no entiende esto:

7 Florezcan los impíos como la hierba, y reverdezcan todos los que obran iniquidad, para ser destruidos para siempre.

8 Mas tú, SEÑOR, para siempre <I>eres</I> Altísimo.

9 Porque he aquí tus enemigos, oh SEÑOR, porque he aquí tus enemigos perecerán; serán disipados todos los que obran maldad.

10 Y <I>tú</I> ensalzaste mi cuerno como de unicornio; fue ungido con óleo verde.

11 Y miraron mis ojos <I>mi deseo</I> sobre mis enemigos; oyeron mis oídos <I>mi deseo</I> de los que se levantaron contra mí, de los malignos.

12 El justo florecerá como la palma; crecerá como cedro en el Líbano.

13 Plantados en la Casa del SEÑOR, en los atrios de nuestro Dios florecerán.

14 Aun en la vejez fructificarán; estarán vigorosos y verdes;

15 para anunciar que el SEÑOR mi fortaleza <I>es</I> recto; y que no hay injusticia en él.

1 It is good to praise the LORDand make music to your name, O Most High,

2 proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,

3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.

4 For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done.

5 How great are your works, LORD, how profound your thoughts!

6 Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand,

7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

8 But you, LORD, are forever exalted.

9 For surely your enemies, LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.

10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me.

11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.

12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;

13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.

14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,

15 proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
