In this episode, Dr. Robyn Kassas and Dr. Nathan Kassas continue examining scheming and how God replaces it with His rhema, turning a schemer into a dreamer. Jacob's story is the main example: he dreams at Bethel yet interprets the dream through a scheme, until God wrestles him at Peniel and changes his name to Israel. They discuss Rebekah's fear that the word would fail, how manipulation replaces trust, and that God moves rather than maneuvers. Sometimes the behavior we use to protect ourselves prevents a schema from being disproven. The law interrupts scheming because it is love aligning us with His will. The rhema invites us to pause and not stop at the first interpretation, since interpretation belongs to the Lord.
