Today the plan is to finish up Matthew chapter sixteen. We’ll learn what it truly means to be on the Calvary Road. This life in Christ looks much different than the way of the world. It will involve denying self, and brokenness. Something that was modeled by Jesus on His road to the cross. But first we’ll learn a thing or two from the apostle Peter, who at this particular point was following a far off, warming himself at the enemies’ fire.

Today on Light on the Hill consider that God may have derailed that plan for a very good reason! Pastor James Kaddis is leading us through Matthew’s gospel, and we’ll be paying another visit to chapter sixteen, verses 21-28. A passage that speaks volumes about the sovereign hand of God!
