God - Judgment

A Far Side cartoon pictures God as a white-bearded old man seated at his computer. On the screen we see a hapless young man walking down the street. A piano is suspended by a rope over his head. God's finger is posed over a button labeled "Smite."

All too often this caricature is how many people, even including some Christians, picture the judgment of God.
