And said unto them, why sleep ye?
&c.] The Arabic version prefaces this with these words, "and he awaked them"; and then rebuked them for sleeping, adding, rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation;
together with words recorded in ( Matthew 26:45 Matthew 26:46 ) .

47 As he was yet speaking, behold a multitude; and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus, for to kiss him.
