25 (106-25) He said the word, and there arose a storm of wind: and the waves thereof were lifted up.

Psalms 107:25

For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind
Winds are not raised by men, nor by devils, nor by angels, but by the Lord himself; who has created them, holds them in his fist, brings them out of his treasures, and sends them forth to do his will; if he speaks the word, gives but the order, a storm arises at once, and executes what he pleases, ( Psalms 148:8 ) .

Which lifteth up the waves thereof;
that is, the waves of the sea; it comes down into it, and causes surges; which rise above the ship, and sometimes cover it, and ready to sink it; yea, even they are lifted up to the heavens, as it follows.

23 (106-23) They that go down to the sea in ships, doing business in the great waters:
24 (106-24) These have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
25 (106-25) He said the word, and there arose a storm of wind: and the waves thereof were lifted up.
26 (106-26) They mount up to the heavens, and they go down to the depths: their soul pined away with evils.
27 (106-27) They were troubled, and reeled like a drunken man; and all their wisdom was swallowed up.
