17 Quando quelli si fermavano, anche queste si fermavano; quando quelli s’innalzavano, anche queste s’innalzavano con loro, perché lo spirito degli esseri viventi era in esse.

Ezekiel 10:17

When they stood, [these] stood
When the one were inactive, lifeless, and without motion, making no progress in knowledge, experience, and practice, the other were so likewise; (See Gill on Ezekiel 1:21); and when they were lifted up, [these] lifted up themselves [also];
like people, like priest, whether in things commendable or not, ( Hosea 4:9 ) ; for the spirit of the living creature [was] in them;
the same spirit that was in the cherubim was in the wheels; and the same Spirit of God, who is a "spirit of life" ^F3, as the words may be rendered, is in the churches, as in the ministers; generally speaking, if the one are lively, the other are also, and both move as they are acted by the Spirit; and also their motion from place to place, which is spoken of in ( Ezekiel 10:18 ) , is directed by the Spirit; see ( Acts 16:6 Acts 16:7 ) .

15 E i cherubini s’alzarono. Erano gli stessi esseri viventi, che avevo veduti presso il fiume Kebar.

16 E quando i cherubini si movevano, anche le ruote si movevano allato a loro; e quando i cherubini spiegavano le ali per alzarsi da terra, anche le ruote non deviavano da presso a loro.

17 Quando quelli si fermavano, anche queste si fermavano; quando quelli s’innalzavano, anche queste s’innalzavano con loro, perché lo spirito degli esseri viventi era in esse.

18 E la gloria dell’Eterno si partì di sulla soglia della casa, e si fermò sui cherubini.

19 E i cherubini spiegarono le loro ali e s’innalzarono su dalla terra; e io li vidi partire, con le ruote allato a loro. Si fermarono all’ingresso della porta orientale della casa dell’Eterno; e la gloria dell’Iddio d’Israele stava sopra di loro, su in alto.
