15 Ma Ismael, figliuolo di Nethania, scampò con otto uomini d’innanzi a Johanan, e se ne andò fra gli Ammoniti.

Jeremiah 41:15

But Ishmael the son of Nethaniah escaped from Johanan with
eight men
Of the ten he brought with hin}, ( Jeremiah 41:1 ) ; two of them being slain in this skirmish, or taken by Johanan, or they fled another way: and went to the Ammonites;
who had put him upon, or however encouraged and assisted him in, his wicked attempts; though he returned to them not according to their wishes, nor with that honour and glory he thought to have done.

13 E quando tutto il popolo ch’era con Ismael vide Johanan, figliuolo di Kareah, e tutti i capi delle forze ch’erano con lui, si rallegrò;
14 e tutto il popolo che Ismael aveva menato prigioniero da Mitspa fece voltafaccia, e andò a unirsi a Johanan, figliuolo di Kareah.
15 Ma Ismael, figliuolo di Nethania, scampò con otto uomini d’innanzi a Johanan, e se ne andò fra gli Ammoniti.
16 E Johanan, figliuolo di Kareah, e tutti i capi delle forze ch’erano con lui, presero tutto il rimanente del popolo, che Ismael, figliuolo di Nethania, aveva menati via da Mitspa, dopo ch’egli ebbe ucciso Ghedalia, figliuolo d’Ahikam: uomini, gente di guerra, donne, fanciulli, eunuchi; e li ricondussero da Gabaon;
17 e partirono, e si fermarono a Geruth-Kimham presso Bethlehem, per poi continuare e recarsi in Egitto,
