Luke 20:35

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that
world
The world to come, eternal life and happiness; not by their own works and merits, but through the blood, sacrifice, and righteousness of the Messiah; and the resurrection from the dead;
that is, the first resurrection, the resurrection unto life, which only the dead in Christ will enjoy; otherwise all will be raised: but some to the resurrection of damnation: these neither marry, nor are given in marriage;
there will be no need of any such practice, for the reasons that follow.

33 Nella risurrezione dunque, la donna, di chi di loro sarà moglie? Perché i sette l’hanno avuta per moglie.

34 E Gesù disse loro: I figliuoli di questo secolo sposano e sono sposati;

35 ma quelli che saranno reputati degni d’aver parte al secolo avvenire e alla risurrezione dai morti, non sposano e non sono sposati,

36 perché neanche possono più morire, giacché son simili agli angeli e son figliuoli di Dio, essendo figliuoli della risurrezione.

37 Che poi i morti risuscitino anche Mosè lo dichiarò nel passo del "pruno", quando chiama il Signore l’Iddio d’Abramo, l’Iddio d’Isacco e l’Iddio di Giacobbe.
