16
ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς. μήτι συλλέγουσιν ἀπὸ ἀκανθῶν σταφυλὰς ἢ ἀπὸ τριβόλων σῦκα;
17

Warning Counterfeits Part 2
Jeff Johnson
Jesus said in the last days take heed that no man deceive you, and many will be deceived. We’re seeing that play out before our eyes today aren’t we! So we need God’s discernment, and today’s Sound Doctrine can serve to help sharpen those skills. Pastor Jeff Johnson is in Matthew chapter seven where we’ll learn about counterfeits, or false prophets… how to both recognize them and deal with them too.

We’re at the tail-end of the Sermon on the Mount today, in Matthew chapter seven. Not everyone is who they claim to be! And that’s most definitely true when it comes to teachers. So how do we know if a person is a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Jesus helps us answer that in the passage before us. You can start by examining their teaching.

Warning Counterfeits Part 1
Jeff Johnson
We’re developing a study in Matthew, and today we receive a very serious warning from Jesus about counterfeits. In the last days there will be many roaming around, but how do we recognize them and deal with them? We’ll talk about that and more in this helpful Bible study.
Beware of False Prophets Part 1
James Kaddis
You may have noticed in the last few years, many have made claims to have had prophetic dreams, words, utterances, and even visions. Many of them call themselves prophets, often asking for support, and donations. How do you know if they are the real deal? Do we even have prophets today? Jesus addressed this issue in his sermon on the mount. We'll talk about that and much more as we explore this awesome section of Matthew today on Light on the Hill!
