29 Y comenz贸 a reinar Acab hijo de Omri sobre Israel el a帽o treinta y ocho de Asa rey de Jud谩.
30 Y rein贸 Acab hijo de Omri sobre Israel en Samaria veintid贸s a帽os. Y Acab hijo de Omri hizo lo malo a los ojos del SE脩OR m谩s que todos los que fueron antes de 茅l;
31 porque le fue ligera cosa andar en los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y tom贸 por mujer a Jezabel hija de Et-baal rey de los sidonios, y fue y sirvi贸 a Baal, y lo ador贸.
32 E hizo altar a Baal, en el templo de Baal que 茅l edific贸 en Samaria.
33 Hizo tambi茅n Acab bosques; y a帽adi贸 Acab haciendo provocar a ira al SE脩OR Dios de Israel, m谩s que todos los reyes de Israel que antes de 茅l hab铆an sido.
34 En su tiempo Hiel de Bet-el reedific贸 a Jeric贸. En Abiram su primog茅nito ech贸 el cimiento, y en Segub su hijo postrero puso sus puertas; conforme a la palabra del SE脩OR que hab铆a hablado por Josu茅 hijo de Nun.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 KINGS 16

This chapter contains a prophecy of the ruin of the family of Baasha, and an account of his death, 1Ki 16:1-7, and of his son's reigning in his stead two years, who was slain by Zimri one of his captains, 1Ki 16:8-14, and who reigned but seven days, 1Ki 16:15-20, and the people being divided between Tibni and Omri, the party for the latter prevailed, and he was made king, and reigned twelve years, 1Ki 16:21-28, and was succeeded by his son Ahab, a very wicked prince, 1Ki 16:29-33, and the chapter is concluded with the rebuilding of Jericho, 1Ki 16:34.
