2 Y de Siria habían salido escuadrones, y habían llevado cautiva de la tierra de Israel una muchacha que servía a la mujer de Naamán.

2 Kings 5:2

And the Syrians had gone out by companies
Not regular troops, but a sort of banditti of robbers, which made excursions into the land of Israel, to plunder and carry off what booty they could:

and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid;
for boys and girls were a part of the booty of such robbers, whom they could sell for money, see ( Joel 3:1 ) . Jarchi and Kimchi say she was a girl of Naaron, a city so called:

and she waited on Naaman's wife;
being either made a present of to the general by those plunderers, or was bought by him of them for his wife's service.

1 Naamán, general del ejército del rey de Siria, era gran varón delante de su señor, y en alta estima, porque el SEÑOR había dado salud a la Siria por él. Era este hombre valeroso de virtud, pero leproso.
2 Y de Siria habían salido escuadrones, y habían llevado cautiva de la tierra de Israel una muchacha que servía a la mujer de Naamán.
3 Esta dijo a su señora: Si rogase mi señor al profeta que está en Samaria, él lo sanaría de su lepra.
4 Y entrando Naamán a su señor, se lo declaró, diciendo: Así y así ha dicho una muchacha que es de la tierra de Israel.
5 Y el rey de Siria le dijo: Anda, ve, y yo enviaré letras al rey de Israel. Partió, pues él, llevando consigo diez talentos de plata, y seis mil piezas de oro, y diez mudas de vestidos.
