Daniel 9:12

12 Y él afirmó su palabra que habló sobre nosotros, y sobre nuestros jueces que nos gobernaron, trayendo sobre nosotros tan grande mal; que nunca fue hecho debajo del cielo como el que fue hecho en Jerusalén.

Daniel 9:12

And he hath confirmed his words which he spake against us
That is, he hath made good his threatenings of wrath and vengeance, in case of disobedience to his law: and against our judges that judged us;
kings, and inferior governors, that ruled over them, who perverted justice, and did not execute righteous judgment; and against them the Lord performed what he threatened: by bringing upon us a great evil;
the desolation of the whole land, the destruction of Jerusalem; the death of many by the sword, famine, and pestilence, and the captivity of the rest; all which was a great punishment considered in itself, but, when compared with their offences, was less than they deserved: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon
Jerusalem;
its walls broken down, its houses burnt with fire, even the palaces of the king and nobles, and the temple of the Lord itself; and all its inhabitants destroyed, dispersed, or carried captive; see ( Lamentations 1:12 ) ( Ezekiel 5:9 Ezekiel 5:10 ) .

10 y no escuchamos a la voz del SEÑOR nuestro Dios, para andar por sus leyes, las cuales puso él delante de nosotros por mano de sus siervos los profetas.

11 Y todo Israel traspasó tu ley apartándose por no oír tu voz; por lo cual ha caído sobre nosotros la maldición, y el juramento que está escrito en la ley de Moisés, siervo de Dios; porque contra él pecamos.

12 Y él afirmó su palabra que habló sobre nosotros, y sobre nuestros jueces que nos gobernaron, trayendo sobre nosotros tan grande mal; que nunca fue hecho debajo del cielo como el que fue hecho en Jerusalén.

13 Según está escrito en la ley de Moisés, todo este mal vino sobre nosotros; y nunca rogamos a la faz del SEÑOR nuestro Dios, para convertirnos de nuestras maldades, y entender tu Verdad.

14 Y se apresuró el SEÑOR sobre el castigo, y lo trajo sobre nosotros; porque justo es el SEÑOR nuestro Dios en todas sus obras que hizo, porque no escuchamos su voz.
