Deuteronomy 9:20

And the Lord was very angry with Aaron, to have destroyed him,
&c.] For complying with the request of the people in making a calf for them, and for that miserable shift he made to excuse himself; which so provoked the Lord, that he threatened to destroy him, and he was in danger of being cut off, had it not been for the intercession of Moses:

and I prayed for Aaron also the same time:
who either was included in the general prayer for the people, ( Exodus 32:31 ) or a particular prayer was made for him, though not recorded, and which also succeeded.

18 Y me postré delante del SEÑOR, como antes, cuarenta días y cuarenta noches; no comí pan ni bebí agua, a causa de todo vuestro pecado que habíais cometido haciendo mal en ojos del SEÑOR para enojarlo.

19 Porque temí a causa del furor y de la ira con que el SEÑOR estaba enojado contra vosotros para destruiros. Pero el SEÑOR me oyó aun esta vez.

20 Contra Aarón también se enojó el SEÑOR en gran manera para destruirlo; y también oré por Aarón entonces.

21 Y tomé a vuestro pecado, es a saber el becerro que habíais hecho, y lo quemé en el fuego, y lo desmenucé moliéndolo muy bien, hasta que fue reducido a polvo; y eché el polvo de él en el arroyo que descendía del monte.

22 También en Tabera, y en Masah, y en Kibrot-hataava, enojasteis al SEÑOR.
