Ezequiel 48:16

16 Y éstas serán sus medidas: a la parte del norte cuatro mil quinientas cañas , y a la parte del mediodía cuatro mil quinientas, y a la parte del oriente cuatro mil quinientas, y a la parte del occidente cuatro mil quinientas.

Ezekiel 48:16

And this shall be the measures thereof
Of the city: the north side four thousand and five hundred;
that is, measures or reeds: the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side
four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and
five hundred;
in all eighteen hundred measures or reeds, as in ( Ezekiel 48:35 ) which denotes the largeness of the Gospel church, especially in the latter day; when Jews and Gentiles will be converted, and multitudes, east, west, north and south, will be gathered to it; and as it is an equilateral square, this shows the perfection, firmness, stability, and duration of the church of Christ; so the holy city, the New Jerusalem, is for the same reasons said to be foursquare, ( Revelation 21:16 ) .

14 No venderán de ello, ni permutarán, ni traspasarán las primicias de la tierra; porque es consagrado al SEÑOR.

15 Y las cinco mil cañas de anchura que quedan de las veinticinco mil, serán profanas, para la ciudad, para habitación y para ejido; y la ciudad estará en medio.

16 Y éstas serán sus medidas: a la parte del norte cuatro mil quinientas cañas , y a la parte del mediodía cuatro mil quinientas, y a la parte del oriente cuatro mil quinientas, y a la parte del occidente cuatro mil quinientas.

17 Y el ejido de la ciudad será al norte de doscientas cincuenta cañas , y al occidente de doscientas cincuenta.

18 Y lo que quedare de longitud delante de la suerte santa, que son diez mil cañas al oriente y diez mil al occidente, que será lo que quedará de la suerte santa, será para sembrar pan para los que sirven a la ciudad.
