Leviticus 18:1

And the Lord spake unto Moses
He continued speaking to him, after he had delivered to him the laws respecting the day of atonement, and the bringing of the sacrifices to the door of the tabernacle, and particularly concerning the Israelites not worshipping devils, as they had done in Egypt: the Lord proceeds to deliver out others, the more effectually to guard against both the immoral and idolatrous practice, of the Egyptians and Canaanites: saying,

1 Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo:

2 Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: Yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.

3 No haréis como hacen en la tierra de Egipto, en la cual morasteis; ni haréis como hacen en la tierra de Canaán, en la cual yo os introduzco; ni andaréis en sus estatutos.

4 Mis derechos pondréis por obra, y mis estatutos guardaréis, andando en ellos. Yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.

5 Por tanto mis estatutos y mis derechos guardaréis, los cuales haciendo el hombre, vivirá en ellos. Yo soy el SEÑOR.
