25 En el a帽o doce de Joram hijo de Acab rey de Israel, comenz贸 a reinar Ocoz铆as hijo de Joram rey de Jud谩.
26 De veintid贸s a帽os era Ocoz铆as cuando comenz贸 a reinar, y rein贸 un a帽o en Jerusal茅n. El nombre de su madre fue Atal铆a hija de Omri rey de Israel.
27 Anduvo en el camino de la casa de Acab, e hizo lo malo en ojos del SE脩OR, como la casa de Acab; porque era yerno de la casa de Acab.
28 Y fue a la guerra con Joram hijo de Acab a Ramot de Galaad, contra Hazael rey de Siria; y los Siros hirieron a Joram.
29 Y el rey Joram se volvi贸 a Jezreel, para curarse de las heridas que los Siros le hicieron delante de Ramot, cuando pele贸 contra Hazael rey de Siria. Y descendi贸 Ocoz铆as hijo de Joram rey de Jud谩, a visitar a Joram hijo de Acab en Jezreel, porque estaba enfermo.

INTRODUCTION TO 2 KINGS 8

This chapter gives an account of some advice Elisha had formerly given to the Shunammite woman, and of the success of it, 2Ki 8:1-6 and of the sickness of the king of Syria, who sent to Elisha, then being at Damascus, by Hazael, to know whether he should recover; by whom a message was returned, and Hazael was told by the prophet he should be king of Syria, and exercise great cruelty in Israel, 2Ki 8:7-15 and of the bad reign of Jehoram, son of Jehoshaphat, over Judah, 2Ki 8:16-24 and of the reign of his son Ahaziah, 2Ki 8:25-29.
