Job 13:2

2 According to your knowledge I have known -- also I. I am not fallen more than you.

Job 13:2 Meaning and Commentary

Job 13:2

What ye know, [the same] do I know also
Concerning God and his perfections, his sovereignty, holiness, justice, wisdom, power, goodness and concerning his providences, and his dealings with men in an ordinary or in an extraordinary way:

I [am] not inferior unto you;
as might be deduced from the preceding discourse; (See Gill on Job 12:3).

Job 13:2 In-Context

1 Lo, all -- hath mine eye seen, Heard hath mine ear, and it attendeth to it.
2 According to your knowledge I have known -- also I. I am not fallen more than you.
3 Yet I for the Mighty One do speak, And to argue for God I delight.
4 And yet, ye [are] forgers of falsehood, Physicians of nought -- all of you,
5 O that ye would keep perfectly silent, And it would be to you for wisdom.
