Sing praises1 to the LORD, enthroned in Zion;2 proclaim among the nations3 what he has done.4
12
For he who avenges blood5 remembers; he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.6
13
O LORD, see how my enemies7 persecute me! Have mercy8 and lift me up from the gates of death,9
14
that I may declare your praises10 in the gates of the Daughter of Zion11 and there rejoice in your salvation.12
15
The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;13 their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.14
16
The LORD is known by his justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.15 "Higgaion."a "Selah"
17
The wicked return to the grave,b16 all the nations that forget God.17
18
But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope18 of the afflicted19 ever perish.

Arise,20 O LORD, let not man triumph;21 let the nations be judged22 in your presence.

Strike them with terror,23 O LORD; let the nations know they are but men.24 "Selah"
