The news about Him spread throughout all Syria ; and they brought to Him all who were ill , those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics ; and He healed them.
"So do not worry about tomorrow ; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
This news spread throughout all that land.
"And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Ordering the people to sit down on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food, and breaking the loaves He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds,
Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt ?"
"Do you not understand that everything that goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and is eliminated ?
Then Peter came and said to Him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times ?"
and said, 'FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH '?
Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves only ; and He said to it, "No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you." And at once the fig tree withered.
But the disciples were indignant when they saw this, and said, "Why this waste ?
Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave.
