For if these things are yours and abound (tauta gar umin uparconta kai pleonazonta). Present active circumstantial (conditional) participles neuter plural of uparcw and pleonazw (see 1 Thessalonians 3:12 ) with dative case umin, "these things existing for you (or in you) and abounding." They make you to be (kaqisthsin). "Render" (present active indicative of kaqisthmi, old verb, James 3:6 ), singular because tauta neuter plural. Not idle nor unfruitful (ouk argou oude akarpou). Accusative predicative plural with uma understood, both adjectives with alpha privative, for argo see James 2:20 and for akarpo Matthew 13:22 . Knowledge (epignwsin).
