Famines and pestilences (loimoi kai limoi). Play on the two words pronounced just alike in the Koin (itacism). And terrors (pobhqra te). The use of te ... te in this verse groups the two kinds of woes. This rare word pobhqra is only here in the N.T. It is from pobew, to frighten, and occurs only in the plural as here.
