He which testifieth (o marturwn). That is Jesus ( Deuteronomy 1:2 ) who has just spoken ( Deuteronomy 22:18 ). Yea: I come quickly (Nai, ercomai tacu). Affirmation again of the promise in Deuteronomy 22:7 Deuteronomy 22:12 . On Nai (Yes) see Deuteronomy 1:7 for the Lord's assent to the call.
