Lìdaìzhìshàng 13

1 Dàwèi yǔ qiā fú zhǎng , bǎifūzhǎng , jiù shì yīqiè shǒulǐng shāngyì .

2 Dàwèi duì Yǐsèliè quánhuì zhòng shuō , nǐmen ruò yǐwéi mĕi , jiàn zhè shì shì chūyú Yēhéhuá wǒmen de shén , wǒmen jiù chāiqiǎn rén zǒu biàn Yǐsèliè dì , jiàn wǒmen wèi lái de dìxiōng , yòu jiàn zhù zaì yǒu jiāo yĕ zhī chéng de jìsī Lìwèi rén , shǐ tāmen dōu dào zhèlǐ lái jùjí .

3 Wǒmen yào bǎ shén de yuē guì yùn dào wǒmen zhèlǐ lái . yīnwei zaì Sǎoluó nián jiān , wǒmen méiyǒu zaì yuē guì qián qiú wèn shén .

4 Quánhuì zhòng dōu shuō kĕyǐ rúcǐ xíng . zhè shì zaì zhòng mín yǎn zhōng dōu kàn wèi hǎo .

5 Yúshì , Dàwèi jiāng Yǐsèliè rén cóng Āijí de Xīhé hé zhídào Hāmǎkǒu dōu zhāo jù le lái , yào cóng Jīliè Yélín jiāng shén de yuē guì yùn lái .

6 Dàwèi shuaìlǐng Yǐsèliè zhòngrén shàng dào Bālā , jiù shì shǔ Yóudà de Jīliè Yélín , yào cóng nàli jiāng yuē guì yùn lái . zhè yuē guì jiù shì zuò zaì èr Jīlùbǎi shàng Yēhéhuá shén liú míng de yuē guì .

7 Tāmen jiāng shén de yuē guì cóng yà bǐ ná dá de jiā lǐ tái chūlai , fàng zaì xīn chē shàng . Wūsǎ hé yà xī yuē gǎn chē .

8 Dàwèi hé Yǐsèliè zhòngrén zaì shén qián yòng qín , sè , luó , gǔ , haó zuòlè , jílì tiàowǔ gē chàng .

9 Dào le jī dùn ( jī dùn Sǎmǔĕr xià liù zhāng liù jié zuò ná gèn ) de hécháng . yīnwei niú shī qián tí ( huò zuò jīng tiào ) , Wūsǎ jiù shēnshǒu fú zhù yuē guì .

10 Yēhéhuá xiàng tā fānù , yīn tā shēnshǒu fú zhù yuē guì jī shā tā , tā jiù sǐ zaì shén miànqián .

11 Dàwèi yīn Yēhéhuá jī shā ( yuánwén zuò chuǎng shā ) Wūsǎ , xīnli chóu fán , jiù chēng nà dìfang wèi pí liè sī Wūsǎ , zhídào jīnrì .

12 Nà rì , Dàwèi jùpà shén , shuō , shén de yuē guì zĕn kĕ yùn dào wǒ zhèlǐ lái .

13 Yúshì Dàwèi bù jiāng yuē guì yùn jìn Dàwèi de chéng , què yùn dào Jiātè rén é bié Yǐdōng de jiā zhōng .

14 Shén de yuē guì zaì é bié Yǐdōng jiā zhōng sān gè yuè , Yēhéhuá cì fú gĕi é bié Yǐdōng de jiā hé tā yīqiè suǒyǒude .

Lìdaìzhìshàng 13 Commentary

Chapter 13

David consults about the ark. (1-5) The removal of the ark. (6-14)

Verses 1-5 David said not, What magnificent thing shall I do now? or, What pleasant thing? but, What pious thing? that he might have the comfort and benefit of that sacred oracle. Let us bring the ark to us, that it may be a blessing to us. Those who honour God, profit themselves. It is the wisdom of those setting out in the world, to take God's ark with them. Those are likely to go on in the favour of God, who begin in the fear of God.

Verses 6-14 Let the sin of Uzza warn all to take heed of presumption, rashness, and irreverence, in dealing with holy things; and let none think that a good design will justify a bad action. Let the punishment of Uzza teach us not to dare to trifle with God in our approaches to him; yet let us, through Christ, come boldly to the throne of grace. If the gospel be to some a savour of death unto death, as the ark was to Uzza, yet let us receive it in the love of it, and it will be to us a savour of life unto life.
