Lìwèijì 24

1 Yēhéhuá xiǎoyù Móxī shuō ,

2 Yào fēnfu Yǐsèliè rén , bǎ nà wéi diǎn dēng dǎo chéng de qīng gǎnlǎn yóu ná lái gĕi nǐ , shǐ dēng chángcháng diǎn zhe .

3 Zaì huì mù zhōng fǎ jǔ de mànzǐ waì , Yàlún cóng wǎnshang dào zǎochen bì zaì Yēhéhuá miànqián jīnglǐ zhè dēng . zhè yào zuò nǐmen shì shìdaì daì yǒngyuǎn de dénglì .

4 Tā yào zaì Yēhéhuá miànqián cháng shōushi jīng jīn dēngtái shàng de dēng .

5 Nǐ yào qǔ xì miàn , kǎo chéng shí èr gè bǐng , mĕi bǐng yòng miàn yīfǎ shí fèn zhī èr .

6 Yào bǎ bǐng bǎi liè liǎng xíng ( xíng huò zuò luò xià tóng ) , mĕi xíng liù gè , zaì Yēhéhuá miànqián jīng jīn de zhuōzi shàng .

7 Yòu yào bǎ jìng rǔxiāng fàng zaì mĕi xíng bǐng shàng , zuòwéi jìniàn , jiù shì zuòwéi huǒ jì xiàn gĕi Yēhéhuá .

8 Mĕi ānxīrì yào cháng bǎi zaì Yēhéhuá miànqián , zhè wéi Yǐsèliè rén zuò yǒngyuǎn de yuē .

9 Zhè bǐng shì yào gĕi Yàlún hé tā zǐsūn de , tāmen yào zaì shèng chǔ chī , wéi yǒngyuǎn de dénglì , yīnwei zaì xiàn gĕi Yēhéhuá de huǒ jì zhōng shì zhì shèng de .

10 Yǒu yī gè Yǐsèliè fùrén de érzi , tā fùqin shì Āijí rén , yī rì xián yóu zaì Yǐsèliè rén zhōng . zhè Yǐsèliè fùrén de érzi hé yī gè Yǐsèliè rén zaì yíng lǐ zhēngdòu .

11 Zhè Yǐsèliè fùrén de érzi xièdú le shèng míng , bìngqiĕ zhòuzǔ , jiù yǒu rén bǎ tā sòng dào Móxī nàli . ( tā mǔqin míng jiào shì luo mì , shì dàn zhīpaì dǐ bǎi lì de nǚér ) .

12 Tāmen bǎ nà rén shōu zaì jiānlǐ , yào de Yēhéhuá suǒ zhǐshì de huà .

13 Yēhéhuá xiǎoyù Móxī shuō ,

14 Bǎ nà zhòuzǔ shèng míng de rén daì dào yíng waì . jiào tīngjian de rén dōu fàng shǒu zaì tā tóu shàng , quánhuì zhòng jiù yào yòng shítou da sǐ tā .

15 Nǐ yào xiǎoyù Yǐsèliè rén shuō , fán zhòuzǔ shén de , bì dāndāng tāde zuì .

16 Nà xièdú Yēhéhuá míng de , bì beì zhìsǐ , quánhuì zhòng zǒng yào yòng shítou dá sǐ tā . bù guǎn shì jìjū de shì bĕn dì rén , tā xièdú Yēhéhuá míng de shíhou , bì beì zhìsǐ .

18 Dá sǐ shēngchù de , bì péi shàng shēngchù , yǐ méng cháng méng .

19 Rén ruò shǐ tā línshè de shēntǐ yǒu cánji , tā zĕnyàng xíng , yĕ yào zhàoyàng xiàng tā xíng ,

20 Yǐ shāng hái shāng , yǐ yǎn hái yǎn , yǐ yá hái yá . tā zĕnyàng jiào rén de shēntǐ yǒu cánji , yĕ yào zhàoyàng xiàng tā xíng .

21 Dá sǐ shēngchù de , bì péi shàng shēngchù , dá sǐ rén de , bì beì zhìsǐ .

22 Bù guǎn shì jìjū de shì bĕn dì rén , tóng guī yī lì . wǒ shì Yēhéhuá nǐmen de shén .

23 Yúshì , Móxī xiǎoyù Yǐsèliè rén , tāmen jiù bǎ nà zhòuzǔ shèng míng de rén daì dào yíng waì , yòng shítou dá sǐ . Yǐsèliè rén jiù zhào Yēhéhuá suǒ fēnfu Móxī de xíng le .

Lìwèijì 24 Commentary

Chapter 24

Oil for the lamps, The shew-bread. (1-9) The law of blasphemy, blasphemer is stoned. (10-23)

Verses 1-9 The loaves of bread typify Christ as the Bread of life, and the food of the souls of his people. He is the Light of his church, the Light of the world; in and through his word this light shines. By this light we discern the food prepared for our souls; and we should daily, but especially from sabbath to sabbath, feed thereon in our hearts with thanksgiving. And as the loaves were left in the sanctuary, so should we abide with God till he dismiss us.

Verses 10-23 This offender was the son of an Egyptian father, and an Israelitish mother. The notice of his parents shows the common ill effect of mixed marriages. A standing law for the stoning of blasphemers was made upon this occasion. Great stress is laid upon this law. It extends to the strangers among them, as well as to those born in the land. Strangers, as well as native Israelites, should be entitled to the benefit of the law, so as not to suffer wrong; and should be liable to the penalty of this law, in case they did wrong. If those who profane the name of God escape punishment from men, yet the Lord our God will not suffer them to escape his righteous judgments. What enmity against God must be in the heart of man, when blasphemies against God proceed out of his mouth. If he that despised Moses' law, died without mercy, of what punishment will they be worthy, who despise and abuse the gospel of the Son of God! Let us watch against anger, do no evil, avoid all connexions with wicked people, and reverence that holy name which sinners blaspheme.

This chapter treats of the oil for the lamps, and the ordering of them, Le 24:1-4; of the making of the shewbread cakes, and the setting of them on the table, Le 24:5-9; and an Israelite having blasphemed the name of the Lord, and inquiry being made what should be done to him, he, and so any other person guilty of the same, is ordered to be stoned to death, Le 24:10-16; on occasion of which several laws are repeated concerning killing a man or a beast, or doing injury to any man, Le 24:17-23.
