36 Yúshì lǐng guo yī ge xiǎo háizi lái , jiào tā zhàn zaì méntǔ zhōngjiān . yòu bào qǐ tā lái , duì tāmen shuō ,

Mark 9:36

And he took a child
Which was in the house, and which he called unto him, and set by him, as the other evangelists observe:

and set him in the midst of them;
his disciples, that all might see and learn from this instance;

and when he had taken him in his arms;
and embraced him, to show his great regard to humility, and humble persons:

he said unto them;
the following words.

34 Méntǔ bú zuò shēng , yīnwei tāmen zaì lù shang bǐcǐ zhēnglùn shuí wéi dà .

35 Yēsū zuò xià , jiào shí èr ge méntǔ lái , shuō , yǒu rén yuànyì zuò shǒuxiān de , tā bì zuò zhòngrén mòhòu de , zuò zhòngrén de yòng rén .

36 Yúshì lǐng guo yī ge xiǎo háizi lái , jiào tā zhàn zaì méntǔ zhōngjiān . yòu bào qǐ tā lái , duì tāmen shuō ,

37 Fán wèi wǒ míng , jiēdaì yī ge xiàng zhè xiǎo háizi de jiù shì jiēdaì wǒ . fán jiēdaì wǒde , bú shì jiēdaì wǒ , nǎi shì jiēdaì nà chāi wǒ lái de .

38 Yuēhàn duì Yēsū shuō , fūzǐ , wǒmen kànjian yī gèrén , fèng nǐde míng gǎn guǐ , wǒmen jiù jìnzhǐ tā , yīnwei tā bù gēn cóng wǒmen .
