15
1You judge according to the flesh;
2I judge no one.
16
Yet even if I do judge,
3my judgment is true, for
4it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.
17
5In your Law it is written that the testimony of two people is true.
18
I am the one who bears witness about myself, and
6the Father who sent me bears witness about me. â
19
They said to him therefore, âWhere is your Father? â Jesus answered,
7âYou know neither me nor my Father.
8If you knew me, you would know my Father also. â
20
These words he spoke in
9the treasury, as he taught in the temple; but
10no one arrested him, because
11his hour had not yet come.
21
So he said to them again,
12âI am going away, and
13you will seek me, and
14you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come. â
22
So the Jews said,
15âWill he kill himself, since he says, âWhere I am going, you cannot comeâ? â
23
He said to them,
16âYou are from below; I am from above.
17You are of this world;
18I am not of this world.
24
I told you that you
19would die in your sins, for
20unless you believe that
21I am he you will die in your sins. â
25
So they said to him,
22âWho are you? â Jesus said to them, âJust what I have been telling you from the beginning.
