1 When he came down from the mountain, 1great crowds followed him.

2And behold, a leper[a] came to him and 3knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean. ”

And Jesus[b] stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean. ”And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

And Jesus said to him, 4“See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, 5show yourself to the priest and 6offer the gift that Moses commanded, 7for a proof to them. ”
