Blessed is the man who 1walks not in 2the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in 3the way of sinners, nor 4sits in 5the seat of 6scoffers;
but his 7delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his 8law he meditates day and night.
He is like 9a tree planted by 10streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its 11leaf does not wither. 12In all that he does, he prospers.
The wicked are not so, but are like 13chaff that the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked 14will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in 15the congregation of the righteous;
for the LORD 16 knows 17the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
