Those who 1trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which 2cannot be moved, but abides forever.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so 3the LORD surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore.

For 4the scepter of wickedness shall not 5rest on 6the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous 7stretch out their hands to do wrong.
48Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to those who are 9upright in their hearts!

But those who 10turn aside to their 11crooked ways the LORD will lead away with 12evildoers! 13Peace be upon Israel!
