Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy

Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[a] met him. They stood at a distance
and called out in a loud voice, ā€œJesus, Master, have pity on us!ā€
When he saw them, he said, ā€œGo, show yourselves to the priests.ā€ And as they went, they were cleansed.
One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.
He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
Jesus asked, ā€œWere not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?ā€
Then he said to him, ā€œRise and go; your faith has made you well.ā€

The Coming of the Kingdom of God

Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, ā€œThe coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed,
nor will people say, ā€˜Here it is,’ or ā€˜There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.ā€[b]
