251the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will 2fall on his face and worshipGod, 3declaring that God is certainlyamong you.
264What is the outcome then, 5brethren? When you assemble, 6eachonehas a 7psalm, has a 8teaching, has a 9revelation, has a 10tongue, has an 11interpretation. Let 12allthings be done for edification.
27Ifanyonespeaks in a 13tongue, it should be by twoor at the mostthree, and each in turn, and one must 14interpret;
but if there is nointerpreter, he must keepsilent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God.
Let twoorthree15prophetsspeak, and let the others16passjudgment.
But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keepsilent.
For you canallprophesyone by one , so that all may learn and all may be exhorted;
and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets;
for God is not a God of 17confusion but of apeace, as in 18all the churches of the 19saints.
The women are to 20keepsilent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but 21are to subject themselves, just as 22the Lawalsosays.
35If they desire to learnanything, let them ask their ownhusbands at home; for it is bimproper for a woman to speak in church.
